• Major Update Speculation V35 - A Distinctive Lack of Communication

For all that people complain about it, the only time I see the Vaccinator used in the wild is by myself or a brain-dead Medic who doesn't know to switch resistances. I've loved using it since it first came out, when it was garbage, but I can see how it's annoying to fight against in its present state if your own team isn't coordinated enough to take it down
what if heavy got more sandviches that could only be refilled by dealing damage, but they gave him and nearby teammates banner effects like the banners themselves, meaning that he has to taunt before activating them, giving enemies a chance to shut him down before he's able to release it
I like the vaccinator and think its a fine medigun. If you need to counter it so bad, Pyro and Soldier do it the best.
I like the vaccinator and think its a fine medigun. If you need to counter it so bad, Pyro and Soldier do it the best.
The Bison was also a great counter to it.
Wait people hate the Vaccinator now? What happened to make it so deplorable?

You can stack all three resistances with the Vaccinator, and fire resistance is irrelevant a good majority of the time anyway. Furthermore, the build rate is so high that at nearly every encounter, the Medic is going to have charge for resistance, making it impossible for any one player to counter, and undeservedly burdensome for even two. With every other medigun, you can route a combo and fell the Medic if you time your assault well before the Medic has enough charge to pop. There's strategy involved in the timing and pacing of your attacks, both with and against a Medic, which is the crux of high level TF2 play. The Vaccinator discards this entirely in favor of crafting a nigh indomitable bulwark against the enemy team at all times, which isn't particularly enjoyable to play against.
That comes at the cost of the Vaccinator being trash at pushing though
How exactly is it trash at pushing? You're going to have 75% resistance on your pocket for both primary damage categories well before the enemy team will have a response with another medigun. Instead, the drawback is supposed to be a diluted capacity to keep the team overhealed. This shouldn't be as much of an issue when the focal point of the enemy's attention during a push can't die with 75% resistance. And let's say I'm wrong, and that I'm overstating the Vaccinator's strengths (it's certainly possible), that still doesn't solve the fact that the Vaccinator is a fun killer and a prime source of vexation.
explain the mechanics of a sandwich that boosts team damage/speed because it was eaten
The crumbs from the sandvich flies out of the Heavy's mouth, landing in the mouths of his nearby teammates and giving them a boost as well. Sorry that's the best I got.
You can't push with the Vaccinator as good as with a normal Uber or Kritz, since you'll be shot at by multiple Sources for longer than two seconds.
That's merely utilizing one of its mini ubers.

Vaccinator in 6s is very hard to counter, if the medic running it knows what they are doing. It's easier to counter in pubs due to the greater number of players. Heavy + vac medic is a super combination.
I haven't had any missions for a week. Great.

Vaccinator might be better off if fire had more push on the battle field. But as it stands, there's only one class that uses fire full time so swapping to fire resistance will be far less useful then just sticking to bullet and explosive resistances. The few options other classes that have fire attached to them, it's probably going to still be better to stick to blast and bullet resistances. The problem is, giving any other class fire based weaponry will just spark an uproar probably amongst the community about stepping on Pyro's toes, when in all honestly could actually help pyro out more then hurt thanks to combo's lol. Although, I wouldn't give any options to classes that are actually prayed upon by spies, like Engineers, Snipers or Heavies...
Snip-O
The Solider kinda for fills the job as Pyro as they spy check with their explosive damage and are able to push players off edges with their rocket damage just as the Demoman is able to. As for the medic. I'd put the medic shield ability from MVM into standard games as a new medic gun with a smaller shield and limited healing. Also. Energy weapons are "Fire" without being fire. I think balancing the Spy would be a better choice. I find it annoying to be killed by a stray rocket even when using the default knife and the Dead Ringer was great but your life expecting drops as your outside of a cloak and because soldiers and demomen will often spycheck everyone you don't live long. I would say the solider and demo is the bane of the spys existence not the pyro.

Cowmangler is reasonable but... the others are eh... Bison is crap, Phlog is crap, Pomson is crap...
The Cow Mangler is okay now that it reloads at the same speed as stock. As long as there are no Engineers.
explain the mechanics of a sandwich that boosts team damage/speed because it was eaten
Eating the Sandvich makes the Heavy rip a big fat stinker, causing his teammates to get a speedboost in order to keep a safe distance. The downside is that the other team gets the same boost while in Heavy's radius.
One thing that annoys me about the Halloween update is that some of the items weren't even Tagged Under 'Halloween' The Heavy Tourism was posted as part of the Mayann project, not Halloween The Tesla coil effect was posted as Part of the Iron Gauntlet effect, Not Halloween Spirit of the Bombing Past was Submitted as Part of Iron Gauntlet The Surgeon's Sidearms are not Halloween like at all Class Crown wasn't submitted under Halloween The Chicken hat wasn't Submitted Under Halloween Infact the Class Crown and Pestering Jester were posted as part of Ye Olde Workshoppe Community update They are even on the Website Can you imagine making a hat for TF2, not make it even any part Halloween like, as it meant to be part of a Medieval Project, then Valve adds it in a Halloween update and make it Elite tier?

I do not get the equip regions on Mad Mask. You cannot wear The War Goggles with it But you can wear a beard hahahahahaha

Not sure why it's like how it is. when this was the intention all along.
The Cow Mangler is okay now that it reloads at the same speed as stock. As long as there are no Engineers.
It also feels super pointless. It's stock with a projectile that looks different, does less damage to buildings and has a pretty useless alt-fire. I think axing the five shots was a mistake, because it seems like the Cow Mangler has a bit of an identity crisis.

If you find yourself in situations where you run out of ammo, like you're camping a high spot with a banner, it's kind of useful, but it's pretty bad if they have a single Engineer.

More so when it's payload... The biggest perk you get out of it is never having to deal with ammo except keeping your rockets fully loaded. I also tend to use it with conc so that I can keep it charged to better help my team since on maps like payload it's fairly common to be fighting along side teammates. It's alt fire is cute, but I find it way to risky... When charging up your movement is impaired, making you much easier to headshot. It uses up all your clip and the damage output isn't nearly as benefitial as you'd hope. You'll probably put out more damage from firing 4 normal shots then one charged shot. The only benefit is the afterburn I guess, it may discourage enemy medics from pushing I guess or hinder their regeneration to recover at most. the burn damage doesn't even charge backpacks, which is sad... Defensively though, you don't really run into too many engineers. If engineers are a problem though you will have to probably swap it out though for better alternatives.

But yeah, considering content creators expected a lot of Halloween stuff so went out of their way to create Halloween-themed stuff, it's kind of awkward.
