Major Update Speculation V35 - A Distinctive Lack of Communication

Not too entirely worried about the new exploit effecting Casual Matchmaking ranks. Reason being:

At most though you'll just get disruptive players playing Pass Time, which I'll admit is a shame...
Its funny how they don't just get the idea to add eachother on steam.

You expect them to use common sense? =X lol

At least the lack of it is common among the Delfy fans.

his PFP looks like a nutshack OC character
Wait doesn't nislt repost Delfy videos in his channel too? so if we are blaming Delfy then we should blame Nislt and delfy too.
But if we are gonna start to this cycle again. then watch this video before it does.

Because remember before when Raja called Delfy and Nislt the tumor of the community like others has said. but Muselk has stated his opinion and everyone agreed. you should watch it again just to be sure.

Muselk made this video responding to Raja's claims on NISLT, the old "he steals clips and make money with no effort lul" shit, Raja knows he fucked up on that video, Muselk barely mentioned anything about Delfy there but Delfy still commented there thanking Muselk and making excuses, there would be nothing wrong with Raja's video if he didn't mention NISLT in my opinion.

6:55 he talked about his opinion in exploiting video's. if anyone wants to skip ahead
I don't agree with muslek and I still think nislt is the ultimate click bait channel for tf2. He is most easily comparable to watchmojo with how they mass upload videos with little to no soul to them whatsoever, but even then at least watchmojo makes their own content to a point.
I mean, is it really necessary to stamp on (F2P, EPIC WIN, EPIC FAIL, UNUSUAL, COOL, MEMES) on every single video along with flooding the thumbnails with shitty meme macros?
Clickbait is YouTube 101. That's nothing to crucify SiN for- attack people for actual shitty/harmful things they do, not minor things that disagree with you.
but at least watchmojo makes their own content.
WatchMojo is WAY less effort than SiN. Watchmojo takes popular clips from movies/TV shows, then edits them together into their videos to talk about them.
The process that SiN does- combing through dozens, if not hundreds of demo files on a daily basis, running that through Lawena, recording the results, THEN editing- is far, far more intensive than you might think. I don't like most of his content, especially not the exploit bullshit (fun fact: I started that angry mob!), but insinuating that his content is low-effort/quick to make is disingenious and shows a lack of understanding of the process.
Also, Raja's video was honestly kind of garbage. He used it mostly as a pedestal to attack SiN on shit that doesn't actually matter, instead of going deep into why publicizing exploits for profit is a shitty thing to do and how it does nothing to help the health of the game.

Muselk didn't say much other than "What he said was unreasonable!" and you know, he was right.
That still does not change the fact Delfy gives elaborate steps on how to do exploits while making the video longer just for that sweet ad revenue. And you guys STILL think what he does is right.
Wew.

Not because he's Muselk and "everyone agrees with him" means he's right.
I think the best comparison is delfy being a cancerous mole on the ass of tf2 while sin is a gross freckle you should probably get checked out by a doctor
So what happened to the guy promising a Pass Time tournament "with large youtubers" or some shit
So what happened to the guy promising a Pass Time tournament "with large youtubers" or some shit
I doubt that tournament is happening. on the official pass time group there is a post made by one of the admins talking about how he will throw up the sign up links for the event as soon as it is ready... They probably realised how niche the gamemode is, how little people play it after quickplay was replaced with Casual and gave up.

Implying it was popular before Casual..
So what happened to the guy promising a Pass Time tournament "with large youtubers" or some shit
He got backlash for making it youtuber exclusive because it was a fucking dumb idea
Then he probably forgot about it
Would it happen to be this tournament?
PASS Time Tournament
Just wanted to let everyone know to stay tuned for a tournament put together by Robtheawesome an Rapid of youtube fame. I'll throw up a link for signups as soon as they are ready.
yep lol
...How the fuck can you play such an out-of-place mod COMPETITIVELY?
It looks like its going to be a simple event, not trying to be some sort of big esport.

you can have SSBB tournaments but that doesnt mean it's a remotely competitively viable game lol

Sure it is, Meta Knight is a barrel of joy for all involved.
I've heard people say the exact same thing about TF2 as a whole so... :eng101s:
Always important to keep other perspectives in mind.

just like scout is a barrel of joy...
The official pass time group just posted official siginups for a tounament. It's like they read our minds.

I'm surprised to learn PASS time is even played
tbh it really bothers me that we have official devs involved in tf2 working with RobTheAwsm, the guy that gained his popularity off of compulsively lying about having MyM details before its release, which he "apologized" for but yet he continues to lie and mislead his audience on a regular basis (including claiming a high level of comp experience, which is really just having roster-rode a plat team before being kicked off for being an asshole)
just
ick, dude.
leaves a terrible taste in my mouth.
Youtube griefing channels take exploits that nobody knows about and thus rarely affect anybody, so valve doesn't need to take time out of working on content to fix them, and turns them into mass exploits that ruin thousands of games, making maps unplayable for weeks and forcing valve to waste their time fixing what would have otherwise been obscure and thus usually harmless bugs. They're, in at least a small part, to blame for all the delays you see for new updates.

Oh man I just looked up what he said and holy shit, was he ever wrong with stuff other than matchmaking. The MM stuff was spot on, though, but anyone could have guessed that.
I Kinda wish those soldier nerfs were real
