I really doubt we will see new tutorials any time soon as teaching new players how to play is not one of the TF teams priorities.[/QUOTE] It's kinda weird that Valve hasn't updated coaching to work with matchmaking, since I'm guessing technically you could do it on matchmaking servers without taking up a player slot due to all Valve servers supporting up to 32 players since the MyM update (unless there's some restriction on players over 24 only being bots).

Is the mouse wheel that bad? The only time it fucks me up is when I play medic, because I can't switch to melee all the time with precision, and the crossbow being weapon slot 1 instead of 2 fucks with my brain.

Scroll wheel takes a bit longer and leaves room for mistakes.

It feels odd because I like my fingers to be over wasd at all times.

Switching weapons more precisely is really good, though.
the biggest issue with mousewheel is when you have a terrible mouse and each wheel movement randomly registers as two instances instead of just 1 or even none speaking from experience :v:

That's an awfully high amount of people thinking it wont be the smissmas update, any reasons why?

The sheer horror of being a medic and having a spy dance round you for the kill, while you frantically scroll past your melee weapon multiple times. I am bad.
If we do get the Pyro update for Christmas I hope we get a small update soon that adds burning props to the background of maps, similar to UFOs for Invasion or MVM tanks for the MVM update. What all do people think we'll see for Christmas? The following is pretty much confirmed by the what we're up to blog post: New campaign New community maps Upgrades to comp mode Rebalance update The following seems likely: Pyro weapon pack/rebalance New festives or festivisers New taunts CELT codec being added to Valve servers (unless it happens before the major update, but I could see it being update page worthy) Something that requires new lines (Nathan Vetterlein recorded new lines in September and there weren't new lines in Scream Fortress) [IMG]https://facepunch.com/fp/ratings/rainbow.png[/IMG] Cactus Canyon and Asteroid going official A new comic (either for the update or the ongoing series Anyone have any more ideas for what we'll see? You can see sprays already downloaded into your spray folder, but it won't download any new ones sprayed on official servers.

Dear Santa Hale. All i want for smismass is the pyro update to fix the reserve shooter. Jokes aside though i really wish something would be done to it with the rebalances.

We only get rebalances twice a year and I don't want to wait another ~7 months for them to fix some of the crap they added to the MyM update.

They don't need to wait for a special update to nerf Heavy silly, it's a biannual ritual by now.
Speaking of which, I've been having this bug as heavy where I can actually kill people. Hopefully they fix that again as they've done ten times over before

[code] bind MWHEELUP slot1 bind MWHEELDOWN slot2 bind f slot3 [/code] This way when you scroll you can't miss your weapon. And for the Spy: [code] bind MWHEELUP slot1 bind MWHEELDOWN slot3 bind mouse3 slot4 bind f lastdisguise [/code] Three of your most used items are on your mouse, sapper is on numbers (or side buttons if you have them). Anyway, play around with it. I'm sure you'll find the setup that's the best for you.
