Major Update Speculation V35 - A Distinctive Lack of Communication
Casual had better quality matches for like, 2-3 days.
then they went to shit.
I liked it because there were people actually playing the objective, half your team wasn't leaving the moment you lost 1 round in KOTH, it felt like people actually tried to play the game instead of going friendly heavy every match and cry when someone dare kills you, the matches didn't become tedious and also not having to sit through a match where you have to watch your team get steamrolled thanks to the stopwatch.
Either way, since the Update is close, have a half-assed Bingo sheet.

Here's mine

I feel like the matches were better because a lot of older, more skilled players came back for the update and left soon after, not because of any changes to the matchmaking system.

replace free space with "no mvm thing"
Spy's being able to build dispensers:

This one was actually fun...
Somehow, a glitch made Spy a better class, if only for a moment.Being able to help out your team by hiding health and ammo giving items seems like a good mechanic, if spy himself can't reap all the benefit.
Well, I'd call competitive a big change on gameplay.
Slightly off topic :

Is this the first Valve Update to happen on a Sunday?
So where is that juggernaut arcana :v. Oh wait the new hero gets a new arcana great. Thanks valve.

People would be mad because Dispensers help keep your cloak full. Just find a spot to hide the dispenser and use it as an easy source to recharge your watches to full when needed lol.
I could just see people complain about the Dead Ringer more if they left this in...

Well, what if the dispenser only gave you health? Thus, engi won't be buffed with 2 dispensers, heavy wouldn't be able to hold m1 and use dispenser's hitbox, and spy himself wouldn't be able to regain cloak.
I hate being on low HP as spy just because the medic has the "don't heal spies" mantra going on.
If Spy had something like that then it should be destroyed if he dies as well as a sort of balance.

As soon as stopwatch mode was removed casual got miraculously worse and less fun to play
i love this pattern with Scream Fortress
each year has 1 less update separating them
that's where you're wrong kiddo
yea the pattern fades after like ~5 years. my argument is literally invalided.
plus aren't you like 19 or something :v:

I'm fairly certain the kiddo is facetious, son.
So, which Heavy weapon do you think will be next on the chopping block?

im 17, get it right kiddo
So, which Heavy weapon do you think will be next on the chopping block?
My guess is we'll see minimal Heavy changes until the Heavy update but you never know.
So, which Heavy weapon do you think will be next on the chopping block?
kgb of course
the last untouched legendary bastion of a forgotten age of wonders
So, which Heavy weapon do you think will be next on the chopping block?
Wouldn't surprise me if they nerf the fucking chocolate bar at this point.
So, which Heavy weapon do you think will be next on the chopping block?
Worst case scenario for me would be them touching the Tomislav any more. I feel it's at a good place, where it shines well on it's own, but doesn't over shadow stock minigun for every situation...
Although personally I don't use stock minigun nearly as much as I used too because of this... RIP My festive Heavy loadout. =C
The Heavy is obviously going to be deleted from the game
The Heavy is obviously going to be deleted from the game
honestly id be happy if they straight removed pyro
The Heavy is obviously going to be deleted from the game
No, they'll save that for the Heavy update.
No, they'll save that for the Heavy update.
Wow asking a bit much arent we?
10 funbucks says that Heavy nerfs will be a defining feature of the next update, complete with a signed and gold-leaf embossed letter from the TF team, delivered to my doorstep, that says "fuck you".

Maybe all of that will happen Soon
I made my Bingo card:
honestly id be happy if they straight removed pyro
speaking as a spy main, pyro mains are the bane of my existence and every time I die in some bullshit way to them I lose a little bit more of my soul
however
speaking also a comp player, I'd much rather Pyro be balanced into a skill-indexed class that's not complete cancer to play as or against, and even in its current state Pyro is rather weak and usually (USUALLY) easy to deal with
Maybe all of that will happen Soon
eh we have another 7-8 months before Heavy is either made fun/viable or held underwater until he stops struggling
I made my Bingo card:
my bets are on:
Cactus Canyon - X - Major Comp Changes - Bison Buffed, But... - 2 Day Update Page
New Comic - Asteroid - New Voice Codec Added To Valve Servers - X - Contract System (should be free space tbh)
X - X - Merry Smissmass - Map No One Wants To Play - X
New Voice Lines - X - Com Server Browser (please) - Prestige in Casual MM - Questionable Rebalance
New Taunts - Parties - Tacky Cosmetic As Rarest Tier - New Unusual Effects - Something No One Saw Coming
bolded the ones I'm most sure of
but I'm calling it now, bottom row is most likely to bingo unless Valve manages to blindside us by...not blindsiding us
that would be a plot twist
I'd hope for 3 day update page like in the past but i don't think we even see 2 day page but here's my take.

After doing the bingobongo, scorpios map propably has a good chance of going official, since it's made by him and he has many maps in already.
I think the throwable molotov is a bit of a strech.
Grenades were removed for a reason.

Technically, Mad Milk and Jarate can be seen as grenades as well...
