No, definitely not. The only thing they share that I noticed is the simplified textures. Just because the art style is stylized doesn't mean its the same art style.

It's not broken, but the community and servers do leave me jaded, it's why I quit TF2 last November, I tried getting into it three times last year only to leave when I felt myself getting too toxic.
Sucks after playing constantly for 8 years, only to see what TF2 is now gameplay wise. Overwatch didn't really kill TF2, but TF2 is dying. At least to me it is.
