Hold on, I'll need a few to process what I just witnessed.

This captures the very essence of the classes perfectly.

The voices are so good. Musetrigger is amazing.
Edit:
Okay fine i was blinded by the medic one. Rewatching it some of them are pretty off. Still i think its pretty decent for one guy though.
The voices are so good. Musetrigger is amazing.
He's alright but it sounds like each class is just the same voice with a slight alteration to it. It will have to do.

There's only so much you can do with just one person's voice.
The fact that the voices are all close enough is by itself amazing
Except soldier sounds way off
Except soldier sounds way off
Soldier is super hard to do a good impression of. He has a weird gruff yet high voice that still can be very low at times, it's actually a tad like George C. Scott, lot of highs but still has a low pitched voice when speaking softly.
The other mercenaries are easy because if you get their accents, you're halfway there and that's what most people listen for, the texan/bostonian/scottish/german/french/russian/australian accent of the mercs.
Soldier doesn't have what most americans think of as an accent, just a very distinct tone, and soldier's tone is very odd, it's supposed to be someone who yells for a living, a make believe army man.
Rick May can do it because he's a voice actor who's been doing it for years. Younger folk will have a harder time trying to do an impression of a order barking, cigar smoking ~40 year old mercenary than an older man like Rick would.
[sp]I analyze Soldier's voice way too much[/sp]
Honestly I'm really tired of Musetrigger's voice. His Scout is really good, but when almost every higher quality SFM video contains his voice, you can clearly hear the difference.
I much prefer sentence-mixing of the original lines, but that has a lot of limitations and only a few can do it right.
Speaking of Rick May, what happened to the rumors of his throat cancer that prevented him from screaming in Expiration Date? Was that ever confirmed?
Pretty sure that got debunked a little after the moment that rumor came out

Muse is best in small enough doses that he can get a good take without enough time to notice differences. Too bad people getting him to do it just ask him to read paragraphs at a time, which makes it dead obvious he's not the scout.

Yeah, old sfms were forced to have mainly non verbal interactions because of lack of voice lines, and now that Muse is available people are writing whole stories for him to read, which doesn't work.
Personally I think "funny" sfms benefit from having spliced voicelines, since I find they make whatever they're saying 100% funnier

The use of the sentry beeps in this song is absolutely masterful.
I've been trying to get into making Let's Plays and did one for practice in TF2. I did terribly in the game, but this was more about getting the editing, talking, etc. down right. How'd I do?

Not really a fan of game grumps ( even less for fanmade animations ), but this one has a nice flow.
