nah man, just placed some lamps here and there on gmod. those disagrees probably mean the lighting is not good either, but eh, that's the best i could do on a toaster

Why not SFM? It's literally the same engine, it just takes a while to render the poster. I've had it run at 60 FPS and at 5 FPS on my PC and both were usable.
So the 72hr TF2Maps Summer jam ended like four hours ago now and i did two posters for it.

Judging from that hidden facial expression, I'm guessing Spy is more of a Linux guy than Apple.
But in all seriousness, that's real nice looking. The lighting is probably the best aspect of it.
Fun fact: Most of the lighting is simply the map. There's a random volumetric in the background, key light on his body, a faint key light on his face, a rim light on the right and a rim light on the apple (lol). The map did a lot of the faint grey, diffuse rimlighting on his chest and head.
Dark pants, sky, lighting touchup on the apple, liquifying hard polygon edges and [URL="https://antizeptic.files.wordpress.com/2015/03/588999rgb.jpg"]slight warm-tone band across his belly (dunno why i even did this tbh)[/URL] done in Photoshop.
