All I remember is that it was about a Heavy punching people with the Holiday Punch and every time he hit someone it would make a pathetic squeaking sound

i was a little baffled by this spy's performance

The ambassador has a wider cone after the first shot (assuming you dont take a second break in between). If you just hold down m1 then the rest of your shots have a possibility of missing even if you're aimed closely. Notice how his reloaded shot headshots despite not adjusting his aim at all.

Is it just me or are artsy SFM really... boring?
I almost always just spam click through the timeline to get to a point of interest, get bored and quit out. Seems like most SFM these days are lackluster (especially in terms of saxxy award finalists)
Most don't have any spectacular animation or writing, and if they have one they usually don't have the other.

I know what you mean, but videos like this are quicker to animate than the ones you're talking about, so you'll usually see these ones more than the high quality ones.
Also the fact that sfm uses pre-made models means they aren't as good for artsy stuff when you know where they're from. If anything they come off as cringey.
This bounty hunter teaser looked good to me except that some of the motions could have been snappier, like when the sniper jumps into the portal and it's too fluid and slow.
Also the transparency issue.

I know why they're frequently made and how it's easier to make a visually interesting scene than it is to make a story interesting. My point was that it's mediocre work.
