mocap is for the lazy, it doesn't work with tf2 characters at all
As much as i like Kosta's videos, i'm thankful that i don't get motion sickness, but the constantly moving camera is still too much, especially in this video, it's like the Demoman has the camera
And yes, while mocap doesn't fit TF2, at least it can be fixed up to look less obvious, except i don't think Kosta makes any adjustments to it at all, so the mocapping is just painfully obvious
doesn't help that he doesn't even try to move or act like the characters at all either

I expected more
The production from assets to animation are all top notch but the writing itself is rather mundane to be honest. flanderized characters and what feels like a cop-out ending. EOTL worked around having no dialogue by having a lot of impressive cinematic shots and rewarding action sequences, this felt more like an above average saxxy entry at best.
Which to be fair they are on completely different plains of production assets, mcvee was basically paid to work on it for a year and winglet&crew likely just had to scrape work around their own schedules. But regardless I think it was ok.

Saying you stopped making TF2 videos is far different from saying you officially quit. That would imply he'd never make more if he found the interest to.
Also this is a good time to mention that the thread's almost done, I have a refurbished OP ready for the next one.
He did make that Highertower video fairly recently, so I understand if he's burnt out on TF2 due to the lack of offical content. I think a lot of us can relate.
The only reason I haven't completely given up on TF2 is because It's a fun game to make content for. The community keeps it alive with wonderful and wacky content, and I contribute to this content myself. Hell, I'm partly responsible for highertower even existing. I made turrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrbine and 2fooooooooooooort (and later on weeeeeeeeeeeeeell) and then everyone else started making similar maps (guy who made orange 50x was first, but I think I sent the ball rolling). Yes, those maps were a fucking stupid trend and way too many were made, but it still blows my mind when I see all these tf2 youtubers making "wacky" videos featuring maps I made. The fact that something made by the community brought Muselk out of TF2 retirement is sentiment to how much power the community has to kept tf2 alive.
If you're worried about tf2's future, make content for it! Every day someone's making something in SFM that Team Fortress 2 themed and tonnes of people still make videos about the game. Hell even shitposting about TF2 helps, all those early tf2 gmod videos were basically shitposts and a lot of people probably found out about tf2 from them. Valve may stop giving a shit but as long as a community of content makers exists Team Fortress 2 will live on for a very long time.
