I have gotten to the point where I find it really hard to take people seriously when they use FemScout in their stuff. Seriously, is it [I]that[/I] hard to use another fem if you want a girl in your picture/video/whatever? It's not like there's not, y'know, [I]six[/I] other fems to choose from (except that FemPyro grates on my nerves almost as badly, although the newer and less busty models [I]do[/I] sit better with me and I'd honestly rather people use them than FemScout).
But hey. That's just my personal opinion, people will continue to use whatever the hell they want no matter how run into the ground it is. And admittedly, I wish I didn't have to hate FemScout. She's just another unfortunate example of cool things that have a very vocal group of annoying fans that cause problems for the rest of fandom.

I wished that there was updated versions of the rest of the classes Chemical Alia did, I really enjoyed you and dzoo11/Maxxy's upgrade to the femEngi.

They're on the to-do list, I promise. :) I'm currently doing texture work on FemMedic, so she should probably see release sometime in the foreseeable future. Depends upon how quickly I finish up my part and how busy Maxxy is when I send the stuff over. (Should've been done months ago, I know. I need a better work ethic.) FemHeavy is next in line after FemMedic, and then I guess it's FemSpy after that. Thinking about redoing some things for Femgie at the end for a V2 now that I've learned a lot and have found some oddities than need to be fixed.
Pretty sure the reason why people use Femscout a lot is because she's the most traditionally attractive of the bunch when it comes to the fem. mercenaries. Plus the scout's personality on a girl is actually pretty attractive; people like confident girls. (Given, regular scout is a bit of a douche, but still.)
If someone were to make a sexier-looking fem. spy for example, I'm sure they'd end up getting used a lot more.

If conventionally attractive fems are what people want, I want to know where all the FemSpy and FemSniper things are because I personally think they're [I]much[/I] more beautiful ladies than FemScout. But then again, I guess I have a stronger appreciation for unconventional attractiveness so maybe I'm "wrong" to most. However, that still makes me very pissed that sexier fems would automatically be more "usable" than what we have now.
Also, I don't really see what would be all that attractive about FemScout personality-wise because I kinda see her as being pretty bratty. But again, maybe that's just me.
I always thought Femgineer was the best one of the group personality and attractiveness wise, but then again that might just be my bias towards texan women speaking for me.

Femscout is probably used the most because it's the most recognizable relative to other fem!mods. It's almost as popular as the game itself, and is easily recognizable as a female Scout (since she just looks like Scout with a bow, ponytail, feminine silhouette, and dress).
FemPyro is just "Hey let's make a Pyro with big boobs and a butt!", and the other fem!mods, while also well done, don't translate nearly as well because they're much more obscure.

I have to disagree in regards to the other fems not resembling their basis enough. FemHeavy is literally just Heavy with boobs and a different head. FemMedic's major change is replacing the pants with a skirt, and that doesn't change the silhouette too much because of the coat. I think the only one you could [I]really[/I] try to use that argument for is FemSpy, [I]maybe[/I] Femgie.
