How the fuck does that work?
Imagine you've got a ceiling fan.
Now imagine you gently push one of the fan blades and make it spin a little. Then as the next fan blade comes in line, you push that one. And the next. And the next. Pretty quickly, the fan is spinning at a decent speed.
Same sort of idea here. They hookshot together, then they close the loop. Each person pulls the next person, and by the time the second person gets where they should be, the first person has been pulled as well, meaning they once again pull the second person. It's an endless loop of pulling.

Basically what's happening is that since the hookshot will always keep pulling you as long a you hold the trigger, the last guy hook the first guy from a distance that would cause him to be pulled, which results in all the previous hookshots having an urge to pull as well, Similar to the physics exploit in Besiege where you can create torque out of nowhere using a bunch of motor hinges

Well, for a person who "just installed tf2" he has all of the advanced settings turned on, even the console command one for different first person viewcam.

A lot of the better TF2 video makers seem to have fallen off the internet lately. Only one I pay much attention to anymore is an0nymooose.
Man, I miss RubberFruit. Say what you will, watching his videos brings me back to the old days when TF2 was alive and Gmod videos were the shit. I'm not a big fan of randumb humor, but he somehow pulled it off in a way that anyone who tried to copy his style just couldn't.
