I always felt kinda weird I knew every thing they said in the videos on TF2, might be I'm either a huge nerd or a I just love TF2
Neither, they just went for extremely-obvious "trivia" and lore that's spelled-out plain as day. Lore is extremely easy to pursue, but unlike most other games, it's rarely ever touched upon within the context of the game itself. This is a smart move, as the gameplay is extremely different in more ways than one. As players, we become the mercenaries. We are the people who voluntarily go to these battlefields to beat the other guys dead. We don't pay attention to the finer details like what we're fighting for or what's so important about an abandoned shack in the middle of nowhere. These mercs are paid to kill, not to think. Those that do stop to examine the scenery are often shot on sight. It's kill or be killed, there's no room for hesitation on a battlefield. As such, it'd be incredibly out-of-place for lore to be presented within the game itself. It's just a divorced concept from being a crazed mercenary out for blood. While there are easter eggs and callbacks to the lore strewn around some maps and details, they are not the primary means of portraying that story. There's a very clear and jarring difference between playing the game and reading the story, that's why they're presented in vastly different formats. The overarching lore is confusing and all over the place, but all it really takes to understand it all is to read instead of thinking that no one has the patience to read older comics over. The only lore trivia that has any place in such a video are small details that may get passed over easily or some backstory that's mostly obscured. An example is Francis the Talking France making 2 cameos in comics, 1 author appearance on the TF2blog, and 1 in-game reference via Ms. Pauling. The character has nothing to do with TF2, it's a throwback to a character created by Eric Wolpaw back in 2000.

new an0nymoose video hint: view it in 60fps
Where would we be with those shirtless models?
its hard to believe that was sfm. feels more like gmod back in the day.
its hard to believe that was sfm. feels more like gmod back in the day.
Yeah, Anonymoose has a really jerky and rough animation style. He pulls it off well, though.
pulling it off very well seems rather generous for something that looks like someone jiggled characters while having their feet glued on the floor. it clashes really bad with the initial segment, to a point its obvious he went for the lowest amount of effort rather than for something that actually looked good.

Can't really hate on it when it suits the type of videos he makes.
His videos always struck me as incredibly lazy. I'd say the jerky movement is less a style and more he can't be bothered.
People think stupid stuff is funny. If it looks dumb, people will laugh at it.

can you even inspect weapons that don't have skins?
The fact that Demo grabs the front grip of the Sticky Launcher to inspect it, then lets go again really amuses me.
can you even inspect weapons that don't have skins?
Nope, but I hope they add it in for every stock reskin like Australium and Botkillers
the animations look way too floaty like there's no weight to the guns and soldier's shoulder phasing through his launcher

I haven't tried them yet, but Paysus updated all his custom anims so they have custom inspection anims, they may be better than these stock ones.
the animations look way too floaty like there's no weight to the guns and soldier's shoulder phasing through his launcher
I'm 99% sure that the CS:GO team did these animations and not the TF team

Guys HELP! [t]http://puu.sh/j6uEm/db53f91a7f.png[/t]
By the way, guys? The reason anonymoowhatevers animation seems to be jerky and lazy is because he puppeteers the models pretty much entirely. It's one of the first things you learn in SFM but yes, he does somehow pull it off. It consists of grabbing a bone, hitting play then dragging it around so SFM records the movements. It's always bothered me but I'm a sucker for silly stuff.
