Goody, they're back to punishing those who stay in the match then addressing the people who caused the imbalance in the first place again..
It's nice to see the Short Circuit getting some work done, but I don't get why Valve didn't do anything about the primary attack. That thing just has no use. Also, did they make any changes to Dragon's Fury's fireball? That thing lagged up my game a lot anytime I viewed it a little too close, which was unfortunately also while shooting it. It basically makes the weapon unuseable unless I'm in Pyrovision.

Not saying it's guaranteed to be wrong, but I don't trust itemtest for accurate testing of items. You can headshot with the crusader's crossbow there.
SC using airblast-like detection was the whole point of it being useful. back to pistol then.

So having played a bit with the updated flames, I'm not sure if I'd call it "fixed" completely, but it's definitely an improvement. Your victims will have more time to react before being dead/near dead. It's actually worth it sometimes to airblast your target away and hit them with a secondary. I tried flailing around vs. 2 scouts and one of them lived even though I had a decent amount of time to spray them. I would have survived and killed them both with pre-update flames. Hype. Can't wait for item servers etc to come back and mess with the changed unlocks.

Oh haha I get it. if you switch any weapons in mid-air as scout, your remaining doublejump is automatically disabled.

I am genuinely excited about this update. When the 200mb update popped up I expected just a case and maybe a small map fix, but this is great.
I still maintain that class limits are a baffling omission from a comp overhaul update, but I'm very happy for the changes we've got gonna call up some friends to do placements with tonight, should prove to be a fun, if horribly stacked in our favor, time
