Are you aware of the absolute insanity of saying that a JoJo reference is stupid when JoJo itself "rips off" (in your words) the "IP" of several hundred songs made by artists in the 20th century? I guess David Bowie should arise from the grave and sue Araki to death for using REBEL REBEL as a Stand name.
Look, we aren't gonna agree on this but I stand with what I said, I'm glad someone emailed them and honestly I should have thought to do that too. At the end of the day Valve removed it, they will most likely put some sort of heavy icon or something on it.
God you are a close minded one, shouldn't expect much from a Rohan fan lmao Man, by your logic Araki should get sued for using Intellectual Property of various bands across the entire world. I can tell you probably don't even play TF2 and only got here so you can "protect" something that wasn't being attacked in the first place.
I have about 3,000 hours played on the game but whatever makes you feel better.
Doubt it. Unless if you share your account with someone else, that would be impossible, anyone with over 500 hours in the game would be smart enough to not say crap like you did
it's actually cute that valve thinks shortcircuit is too strong and can't ever decide to leave it alone. literally every engineer ever do not see its appeal because its very risky to use (as you are exposing yourself closely to deadly stuff AND you aren't repairing your sentry during that time) or uses wrangler. and yet valve is constantly like oh no op
i physically can't understand why the fuck people are arguing about jojo hats and copyright infringement when this scout infinite jumping glitch is in the game and probably the most fun i've had with tf2 in at least a year abusing exploits is usually the absolute worst but in this case it's something that's so fucking stupid that it barely even manages to bother me
I laughed out loud at your post, you are delusional man. I hold a different opinion than yours, that's all it is. You literally signed up just now to try to argue with me.
rocket scout is so fun
I am delusional? You say that making a direct reference is wrong yet doesn't acknowledge that JoJo has done the same so many times for more than 30 years, yet I'm the delusional one?
How do you do it? I just saw someone doing it with the intel, it looked hilarious, I wasn't sure what was going on at first.
Dood. And dood from other part of facepunch. We have enough nonsensical tomfoolery in here already (see: the last 5 pages of: Random Crits, ep3- fallacy frontier) We didn't realize what we were dealing with and should have stopped a lot sooner. Don't make that same mistake.
I was elated for the three or so hours Heavy was a good class.
Alright, after five and a half hours of queuing for competitive and not getting a match (and watching b4nny and his party get a game in under 5 minutes on stream), I'm tired. I'm just going to play TF2PL and try again tomorrow. What a complete bummer. On a happier note, pyro feels really, really good to play now. Kills and combos all feel earned.
It's my new favorite exploit
Yeah there's clearly an issue with comp matchmaking right now, Borealis and I queued for about an hour before we found a match (only to get rolled in less than 5 minutes because the enemy team had comp players on it including Mr Slin). I played a few comp matches a few months ago and it didn't take more than a few minutes to find a match. I watched a bit of B4nny's stream and and it turns out another comp player found out from Jill they are looking into issues with comp matchmaking right now.
is it really an exploit, considering it grants you absolutely no advantage outside of CTF
They're exploiting a bug, so yes, it's an exploit in that context. Even if it gives no advantage outside of certain maps, it's still something unintended being used in a competitive setting.
It's semi useless exploit but by god it's fun as fuck to fly around some maps while everyone looks on confused.
hey just wanna mention the new axtinguisher has a synergy going with the gas passer where you can get an incredibly chain going given the gas passer has the highest amount of afterburn duration and you can just kinda clog it up instantly with the axe, creating an extreme chain of gas and ass
This reminds me: Is anyone in the process of testing how this damage bonus works? Is it just adding the remaining afterburn damage to the strike?
On a more grave note Natascha is now objectively the best heavy primary, and probably one of the best items in the game overall. Team Fortress 2, now featuring Pudge from Defense of the Ancients series! Oh boy Valve's lawyers are going to have a field day with this.
What do you guys think of the new PBPP change?
Bad. PBPP should be the "no damage yes healing" option. It's still both, and will continue to be both as long as it occupies the same role as pistol in combat.
Eh, I have found that it's useful for back capping on Banana Bay as long as there are no sentries... fly around till a trains about to come then land behind it last second... I've won a few matches that way and I would consider that a form of cheating...
If it's not both, then you may as well be using the Mad Milk. The only thing unique about the PBPP at the moment is that it is both.
Good. I'd still use it if it had no Health bonus.
Do you actually genuinely not know who FiveEyes is? He's gotten an insane amount of items in the game, including the hat. Also, if it is actually you specifically whining to Valve in some way, I hope you realize that something like that is so petty that nobody here will ever respect you again for it. If you did do it, admit it now and have at least a little humility, you're already on a big losing streak when it comes to community respect after all of today.
So it looks like the Short Circuit didn't have its previous alt-fire zap removed/disabled. You can still zap players and projectiles with it, dealing 20 damage or removing the projectile respectively. However, now all zapped entities add towards the old -5 metal drain. In the example below, alt-fire zapping 16 enemy players causes my metal to drain by 145, which is the energy ball cost of 65 + 5 metal per enemy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GcokBDkW0yc
having an update named after Sketcheck that also is the one that brought rightful justice to pyros everywhere makes you really feel warm inside.
