All it does is rollback how good it was against groups (something Sniper has no business doing) in favor of actually skill-indexing the weapon. A full-charge headshot will deal 203 damage, enough to kill all classes but Heavy. Plus they get coated with Jarate. The Jarate recharge effect is mostly useless though, since you get more mileage out of good SMG aim for dealing with close threats if you play aggressively and playing passively you won't need multiple quick-succession Jarate throws to necessitate speeding up the recharge by a whole 1 second. The hit detection is weirder than normal headshots and there are some missing things like HS kill icons and associated strange part compatibility, but I imagine they're holding off until the balance settles before committing.
Apparently there's a new exploit where Scouts can doublejump indefinitely. I've seen at least four of them in the last twenty minutes.
The best part is that it's stupid easy to do.
I wish they gave the Matchmaking improvements a bit more attention. Not expecting a whole update page, but we didn't even get a witty blog post about how matchmaking was improved, just a standard, and honestly a little bit generic, post about how they released an update.

The difference being the Corona was designed for and intended for the sniper, while the Hazmat was the result of a co-contributor abusing the item update system for kicks. it clips and looks bad. If they updated the sniper specific model to look nicer and more appropriate for him, sure, but as is it can just get trashed tbh.

Man, I'm saddened by the Sydney sleeper changes. All I wanted was one sniper rifle that rewards a lack of skill, is that too much to ask? I mean, the huntsman exists but it isn't really a sniper rifle persay...

The cheaper one is for 2 classes though. It's also less .... elaborate(?) than the corona.
So now that the Sleeper minicrits on headshot, fully charged headshots deals 202.5 damage, enough to one shot 8/9 classes.
I guess its time to start using my pro ks sydney sleeper.
The Thermal Thruster had some unannounced changes, the extra knockback from enemies was increased from 30% to 50% and has a new attribute: "disable weapon hiding for animations".

In my opinion all caber really needed which was its major issue to me is shield charged crits, however I'm sure a handful of snipers cried about it too... Revert to old stats and give it the following: Damage reduced to 125 max. This allows for its original use to get rid of problematic classes like sniper, spy or even scout in one well-timed hit. Unable to be crit or minicritted. Shield charged crits were insanely stupid on pre-nerf caber. Swing speed reduced. At least punishes you for missing the hit, allowing for retaliation.
the real problem was demo surviving the blast, not its power. if you wanna commit to one shotting stuff that way then you should pay the price and die everytime too
Simple, make the enemy and demo recieve the same amount of damage, in this case the demo would recieve 130 and the enemy would recieve 130 on explosion.
What's going on with competitive mode? I'm almost 5 hours in a queue and i found 0 matches

because competitive doesnt bring an audience and isnt an extremely vital and important part of tf2 I know its a shitpost but thats just civillian tier
IIRC the shield charge is actually broken on it. The caber can be crit boosted by the shield, but not minicrit boosted.
mvm gets no connections mid-game either so matchmaker is silly
good thing with the new queue system is that you can spend those hours looking for a comp game while playing a casual or community games.
