We just had a 5 page shitshow of one idiot trying to argue that a hat is copyright infringement. We constantly have people responding to other people like ASIC and resulting in more forum-wide slap fights. Facepunch did the literal exact same thing. the only difference is instead of meme images designed to entertain people, it was a giant forum-wide argument, and nobody even had any impact, I can almost promise WWWWW still thinks the same thing he did before the update. You should take your own advice, take a chill pill, and stop subjecting yourself to reddit if it upsets you that much.

No, it was due to the fact that you can jump to the skybox in a ref pose. That's what made it amusing.

Flying scouts got annoying when you had a cluster of chucklefucks suiciding at roundstart so they could be useless for half a minute, respawn, and then be useless for the entirety of their next life, clogging up slots while the rest of the server is actually trying to play. The novelty wore off very fast. Spies building dispensers, however, that's an ancient bug that was entertaining without needing to be down a player. There was no elaborate setup or downtime, it just happened at the drop of a hat since it just needed you to make a bind for it.

More like it's a funny bug that was largely harmless compared to the exploits that have shipped with countless previous updates.

It was quite abusable though, dont say that It's 100% harmless. You can fly up to skybox, wait for someone, land on his head and pull your scattergun out and kill him.

It was great seeing Scouts T posing in the skies, legs flopping about wildly with each jump like a pair of very rubbery wings

Because you'd be getting one free kill max from abusing it, and that's not nearly enough to make a difference in the match. So the tryhards all stayed away, which left the exploit solely to the memers.

The system isn't used like you think it is, the goal of using glicko in casual is to have balanced teams, not to make everyone be at equal skill in a server, it's used to have the team's overall average rank be equal (instead of using XP)
