Dude, you've went so far with this that even your background is random crits. We get it, you disagree on our opinion on them. Biggest problem however is that you keep bringing up points that barely matter, keep asking questions that barely matter and most importantly... This keeps going on for more than one page everytime you manage to turn the discussion about crits, despite how many times we go through the same shit and nothing changes. Not a big surprise people want to ignore you.
Honestly, you can't make us like random crits and we can't make you not like random crits, your arguments don't work on us or do our arguments work on you, stop even bringing it up buddy
I really hope we dont bring mods because of ASIC. Anyways has anyone emailed the team about the flamethrower damage ramp up from 50% to 200% being bugged to only be at 50%?

Source on the flamethrower statement? I have heard it several times however the damage seems to ramp up just fine?
Can the next thread have a banner that says "Don't throw a fit because people have different opinions on video games than you".
the flames flail feels like the old flamethrower, I think the "direct consistent beam" is gone again
Hope matchmaking is fixed before Valve's yearly two week Hawaii vacation in April.
You said the biggest problem is that I bring up points that don't matter, and ask questions that don't matter. I obviously will disagree with this. I'm going to note what I think the biggest issue with these discussions is. Well, what is it? It is basically some of you guys threadshitting. (Poo in loo, ok? ) You said that it's no surprise people want to ignore me. Alright then. If people want to ignore me then they should ignore me. But that isn't what happens. Instead you have posts like this TF2 General Chat and Speculation Station V6. Or a more extreme example like that one where Ultravod told me to kill myself. Posts which try to make an epic zinger, or are just low effort. These don't really add much to the thread. And it isn't like there is only one of these posts, there are usually multiple of them. That's only one aspect. I'm going to use your post as one example of the issue. Right now you are basically stating that my posts are bad, but without any real proof. Maybe you don't feel like elaborating, maybe you think it is "self-evident", or maybe you just forgot. Alright, this is fine if it happens once or twice. It's not an issue, if its only once or twice. But it happens more than once, so it becomes an issue. I can bring up a bunch of examples of this. There are even 2 examples right above you: TF2 General Chat and Speculation Station V6 and TF2 General Chat and Speculation Station V6 And so far when I ask them them to prove their accusations about me or my posts they vanish and don't respond or refuse to answer (like Kaiga). Maybe they don't want to have a real discussion, or they don't want to back up what they say. Either way this is just flinging shit at the other person, it does nothing to the thread except causing conflict.
Here is a suggestion: Make a separate thread for your topic. People can take it there. Nothing wrong with that, happened in the past. You have been discussing the same topic for the last 7 months. People are tired, annoyed, and don't wanna fucking read about it anymore. They don't want to discuss it with you, with me, or with anyone else in this thread because they are tired of the topic because the same arguments have been repeated for the last 7 months however you do not seem to tire discussing said same topic - so please, make a separate thread for it. Thanks.
"Don't respond to ASIC" >Responds to ASIC
you got me
Basically what he said. Right now you are basically stating that my posts are bad, but without any real proof. What "proof" do i need? It's just my opinion that it's stupid for everyone to rant about a topic talked to death that cant be added more to. Besides i don't wish to go all the way back to search for specific posts. Just saying that there might be a reason we now have the feedback question for random crits. Do we really need to talk about it more? As for threadshitting, it happens with these kinds of repeating topics.
and he'd have gotten away with it too if it weren't for you meddling kids
That's the thing. I also don't want to have to do that anytime someone accuses me of something.
Then how about we all leave this thing to be then? Easier than having this going and since people are already pissed off about this topic.
Yes, there's nothing more fun and strategic to play against than three heavies with two vacc medics and an uber or six engineers blocking the last point. Gee, I'm sure glad 10 years of balancing competitive Tournament play was thrown out the window so I could use the Sandman to troll everybody! There aren't even that many banned weapons in competitive anymore. The Dec team has done a really, really good job balancing lately now that they're bothering to take comp into consideration. At lower level comp play, you can even see perma spy, sniper, or pyro players with huge success on TF2PL lobbies.
So what, we just straight up don't allow people to play the game as they're used to? That's not a way either.
don't use dumb weapons in the first place lol
Personally, i'd say class restrictions are required but weapons need to be balanced and fixed in order for competitive to even stand a chance.
Alright, 'doc'. What symptoms led you to this diagnosis?
tell that to the entire casual community that's not going to give a shit about comp if they decide to go with the community's artificial limitations also no u
pretty sure ASIC is a sentient AI trying to comprehend other opinions besides itself
from the 15 valve mm matches I have played people most of the time roll the stock 6s, sometimes with a heavy or pyro thrown in, never saw someone unironically do double heavy med combo or something like that
well then if flurry didn't see it happen in his 15 matches that settles it.
I am a type of computer chip, but that's not relevant. Anyways I have said this several times (I think like 5 different times, but I am not sure) in these past discussions, but I will say it again: Understanding the opinion of another person does not mean you will necessarily agree with their opinion. A simple example is how I can understand why someone may like a type of food that I do not like.
Just because YOU can't see the RNG seed and predict crits doesn't mean they're random, fleshbag. Get good.
that kinda proves that the only people playing comp are the ones who are actually familiar with it that's kind of a bad sign
yes the entire point of the post was to prove that it isnt real and it never happens and not to share an experience very good and valuable post, would give reddit gold
I am not trying to be rude here so I am not going to single anyone out. This diagnosis is better aimed at some of the other people in this thread. Well maybe not autism in specific, but it sure seems like some kind of neurodivergence. Why do I think this? 2 overall reasons; a large degree of importance placed on a trivial topic. and a lack of social understanding. These folks get rather irritated about things that are ultimately rather trivial and inoffensive. Remember we aren't talking about politics here, it's a video game. As a comparison is it a mature thing to get angry when one of your acquaintances likes a different type of pizza then you? Sure you don't really like it that much, but you still will willingly go out and eat it. A second thing is they lack knowledge of some basic aspects of debate* and social interaction. Some examples: Asking "Why?" is a good thing when discussing a topic. Most stable adults will not believe accusations against them without some kind of evidence. Insulting the other person will not convince of what you are saying. *This may be because they were not taught critical thinking skills, rather than any sort of mental issue. But it isn't clear.
