Update on my queue since I know they're getting better for some people: I got three matches on March 29th over 5 hours of queuing.
As of now, it's been a total of 17 hours of queuing mixing solo, duo, trio, and full party queuing with zero new matches since the 29th.
Holy shit. Short Circuit near 2fort spawn is one of the most things I've ever done in this game. Killed a heavy-medic combo single handedly with the short circuit
Scorch Shot might be easier than the Detonator, but I want to point out that that doesn’t make it a crutch. It works great for everyone, even if you are relatively skilled at the game, due to how versatile it is. It’s genuinely the better option a lot of the time, even if only for the quick to use knockback stalling ability (which does require direct hits to make use of). I recognize that it’s rather annoying, and frankly I’m surprised they haven’t changed it in the previous update or Jungle Inferno. I brought it up because it overall seems a little too useful too often, and it might very well be imbalanced as a result.
It seems that a lot of people aren’t using it just because they’d feel shame in doing so, or because there might be more fun alternatives.

Probably because war paints are very visible on it. It's basically a plain canvas.

Possible evidence for the theory that Valve devs don't communicate even with each other.
The highest weapon concentration of high level stranges that I've seen has been the Original. Any idea why? Is it just like a cheap strange stock alternative or something?
stock RL is often considered the best, and original has high value for being comical, unique, center rockets or just nostalgic. it's also on the class that has the easiest access to kills

Unused blue variant of the lighning in Powerhouse collection skins
Unused blue versions of Black Dahlia and Brick House
The stripes on Masked Mender were based on a separate texture based on dazzle camoflague
Unused TF logo engraving texture
Green and yellow versions of the flannel texture on several skins
Unused pink version of Anodized Aloha
Unused Jungle Inferno skin sticker for "Yeti Gun Oil"
Four unused argyle textures for the Gentlemanne's collection, and an unused checker one
Unused candy corn texture for a Harvest collection skin

It's not a tangible upside/downside system. It's purely preference.

I think it was acutally added in the comp rework update, engie blueprint wireframes load a lot faster now.
With Valve suddenly fixing decade-old bugs, I wonder if they'll finally get around to removing the exploit for the Air Strike and Market Gardener that involves bunny hopping.
Never heard of the Air Strike bug, do you fire at the faster rate? I guess it's the same issue as the market gardner bug, rocket jump only things are active when bhopping after a rocket jump.
The Air Strike bug should be fixed but I never had an issue with the bhop market gardener trick, or really seen it in a real game.
so what if you didn't see it? how does that make it any less of a problem?
