Fixed the Medic's auto-call feature not including enemy Spies disguised as the Medic's team
As if there wasn't any reason to have that ping threshold at 100% in the first place and Spies didn't have issues with people having wallhacks on spawn, now Medic also gets a Spydar at all times.
I'd guess this only happens while the Spy is visible and disguised. It would probably take into account the disguise's health, not the Spy's. I doubt this will do much. But if it turns out to be a pain for the Spy, I think we're due for some big core changes for him as well as the other non-6s classes.
Isn't this a fix so medic doesn't get a spydar?
The Thruster's stomp animation doesn't blend with other animations at all and looks strange.

The interaction prior to this update was that a disguised Spy would not show up as a blip on the medic's autocall radar. This only worked as a Spy radar if Medic had visual on the Spy and noticed that one of his "teammates" wasn't showing up as a blip.
As it functions now, Medic will be able to see Spies appearing on his autocall radar and be able to locate what direction they're in and call it out.

It's alright, the transition is just too fast and harsh imo.

A Pyro falling with the Thermal Thruster did a T-pose before, so definitely an improvement.
if anything it's just very static, but its really not a big deal considering you'll probably only see it for .5 seconds in game

I was only seeing it from the back in thirdperson and it looks okay, too static and fast like the above posts tho.
I had a shit comp experience, I was going to use relive to record the animation but I had a comp match, and relive bugged and made my mouse stop working for the first round. Had to kill relive with task manager.
So what you're saying is... it's a positive fix to make Spy act like a teammate more but you're trying to phrase it as yet another """nerf"""?
What if an update that comes out that makes the Spy's backstabs not have screams? Would you response be "oh, that's just great, now teammates can SEE their teammate get stabbed and know it's not a normal death because they didn't scream"?? This is literally only a net positive change, if it's even a change (it's more just a bug fix to actually help Spies).
Glad they fixed the Razorback uber build, I reported it recently.
Anyway, is there really no way for the banned accounts to be appealed? It sucks losing so many posters.

for a class that has a playstyle centering around staying out of sight...that's a pretty huge problem, dude.
So the Medic just instantly knows if they're a teammate or not? Are these Medics hacking themselves? It's a huge assumption to make that all of a sudden Spy is even worse because the Medics that ran auto-call at 100% (which in itself is impractical) suddenly have one more bleep going off over the 11 other bleeps.
Can anyone confirm if the game mode goals don't show up in Casual? I currently don't have access to my PC and I would like to send a report as that is a pretty big problem for new players.

When you're out in the middle of the playing field and a "teammate" manifests their body behind you, are you going to assume it's just them taking a teleporter into close range of you? maybe they spawned behind you? Or the more likely scenario is that it's a spy and the autocall just alerted you that someone is there
It's not terribly difficult to put 2 and 2 together. In the noise of a pub it gets drowned out, but in lower playercounts that just kicks Spy players in the teeth through no action of their own.
Yeah... This is going to be bad...

there is no reason whatsoever for this auto-call blip to be present for spies when they're out of line-of-sight. also, on smaller teams of 6 or 9 (aka: competitive play, where people actually pay attention), this will be much more noticeable. many comp medics I know use the 100% autocall percentage as well, since it helps them keep track of where their teammates are at any given time.
plus, the only way a spy would be exposed by the auto-call blip not being present in line-of-sight prior was if the medic were actually looking directly at him and noticed that his health wasn't giving an auto-call despite the threshold being met. if someone is staring right at you as a spy and you aren't already in the process of killing them, you've fucked up.
not to appeal to authority here, but seriously. take it from the guy who plays spy competitively. this is one of many undue kicks in the nuts that my class has received recently.
Must not be any Heavy or Spy mains on the TF team.
Hopefully they'll realize this was a mistake and remove it, along with appearing as a teammate to the enemy when disguised as they respawn.... Or at least give us an option to disable it on us appearing that way to them...
I think it's past time I write a master-post on all the ways Spy is bugged/fucked by oversights as a result of post-launch changes to the game, email it to the TF Team and spread it around.

instant hit melee
ammo recharge
weapon switches on disguises
can take enemy tele
enemy HP vision
sapper stuns on unsap
faster redisguises
all of his unlocks constantly get buffed (amby being the only one that ever took a serious hit)
20% resis on cloak
run speed buffed
cloak shorten maluses
RTR is basically sapper +1
and probably more I forgot.
IF anything, Disguises need to reflect the same weapon slot you're using instead of pushing a button and hoping you'd get the one you need. that was particulary problematic as medic disguises would show a medic using the siringe gun in team fights making it extremely obvious it was an spy. if the target disguise was using a pasive weapon or ran out of ammo, just have it revert to meelee.
Also this is more of a suggestion rather than an actual fix, but backstabs should not be displayed in the killfeed to your enemies. the death scream should be more than enough.
I would pay actual money for a revolver that did retarded amounts of damage to buildings up close but awful damage to everything else. There's nothing better than gunning down a lvl 3 while a pyro or engie try to unsap it.
Eh, I feel it's been a bit back and forth when it comes to unlocks... More so against then for in the long run... Some have gotten buffs out of the blue like the movement speed buffs on DR and I believe Big Earner ( I forget it if had it originally or it was added during gunmettle ). But then others...:
I feel RTR is pretty much worse in every situation over stock currently with the exception of mini spam. Since it's slower to dispose of them, meaning the engineer has a longer wait to poop out another. Ambassador is still in a pretty bad spot now
Ambassador isn't really worth the effort required to make it more useful over stock now currently, at least from what I've seen come out of it.
DR I might be a little bias so I can't address it. I never liked the unlock personally because I felt it slowed me down. My play style on spy is to get things done quickly and DR's design goes against it for the most part for me lol. If they made the decloak sound not so obnoxiously loud I'd probably start using it again though.
