Boi practically everyone and their mother has proven to you that random crits are bad for casual and you literally started the thread by asking "Why should the team with more skill win?". You've already made your reputation go down to 0 by being impossible to have a normal argument with and have been reduced to a joke in the random crit threads. So seriously, just stop.

I didn't literally start the thread by asking that. I am not the group of people that has been hurling accusations since page 1 of that thread (which was before I even posted in it). If you want to stop talking about this, then why do you keep making accusations?

@ASIC The Random Crits thread was made specifically so you would stop threadshitting in MUS/General. No one asked you to weigh your ill-received opinion in in this context, the subject was deliberately to mock a disgraced former member that got his ass permabanned for being a cunt elsewhere. How was I threadshitting? Some of you guys were the ones who were doing it. I even gave examples of this before the random crit thread was made. I didn't decide to make stuff about me, these guys brought it up on their own.

People making jokes about random crits is not an invitation to start discussing random crits when there's a thread with that dedicated purpose. There's a reason it was made, it was so you would stop responding to every fucking post that mentioned random crits in this thread. If you're going to respond to posts, quote them in the random crits thread, not here.

On the other hand, insulting or accusing someone is an invitation for them to respond to you. People did that here, so I responded here. Now the thing is that there is a containment thread for people to insult me in, but nobody (not even the guy who made it) uses it. Yeah, Valve has really been killing it with this wackier stuff, but for example Demoman has gotten nothing but bomb based hats that aren't multi-class since 2016, excluding Hungover Hero (elite grade hat) and Melody of Misery (bagpipe). Its quite amazing actually; Spirit of the Bombing Past, Bomb Beanie, Bomber Knight, Elf Esteem (has a sticky on the hat), Blast Defence, Blast Blocker and Frag Proof Fragger. So in the last two years Demoman has gotten a whole 2 items that aren't about bombs to himself.

I really like those old, vintage hats from 2009 up to 2010 (and hats from 2010 to 2013 weren't so bad either) because they're quite simple and aren't really over the top (with some exceptions like earbuds and max head that were released during that time); and i feel like that those old hats fit each respective character

The Potassium Bonnet is the best hat in the game.

It's too bright and ridiculous to fit into the game in any form or with any loadout. It's a good thing that it's an elite grade hat worth 12 keys. Honestly, there is not a single loadout you could chuck it into and say "Yeah, this fits into the game", all of the other elite grade tier hats at least can fit into a loadout.

2015 was when they really started adding over-the-top stuff, even in 2014 it cosmetics weren't as crazy, before 2015 the most over-the-top stuff were just pink and lime painted cosmetics mostly.

Good things. I love the feeling of customization you achieve with them. They allow you identify threats easily. Plus, you can get some good comments when a random applauds your fashion sense/calls you an abomination for mixing lime with pink. Oh, and yesterday someone called me a gay hacker for killing him as Heavy. The guy has some... Issues, but I'm glad I beat him two times in duels.
