I wouldn't be surprised if it was, TF2C has been dead in the water for quite some time
What I want is a flamethrower sentry, short ranged but still more useful than a pyro and shouldn't be hard to code.
The thread was closed soon after that spammer had the hoax TF2C update. Maybe it's related?

Video games are a lot more complicated than they seem from a casual standpoint, especially one as janky as TF2.
Also I'm not really sure about handing out fire damage to non-pyro classes personally, especially for something that isn't really filling any niche.

Sincerely curious about why you would want this. Doesn't a regular sentry pretty much delete any enemy that's in flamethrower range already? What would a flame-sentry bring to the table?

I think someone has been playing some Paladins.
In another news, Icefrog says that Dota2 team is taking different approach on updates, every second thursday a small patch for the next 6 months and then they re-evaluate. I just hope TF2 team would do the same, because in the past lots of smaller updates especially in early years of Valve games have been a lot more productive and fun than waiting for the next big DLC or update.

Maybe Sniper damage could slowly decrease with distance like the Ambassador until reaching zero at 48,000 hammer units? As stupid as Sniper is balanced currently, he would be completely useless with any sort of distance scaling in his damage.

They probably already get hundreds of emails each day like this. Sending so much won't help them at all since it's clear random crits are here to stay whether or not we like it.

That's an actual mechanic on Pipeline, it's just the lines that are unused.

I just checked and you're right, the unused lines have it a bit different, the loser's cart would have been locked for up to two minutes, which sounds pretty bad so I'm glad that's scrapped.
Is it only me or eating Sandvich while youre set on fire doesnt extinguish you since JI?
Not really a problem since you heal enough to ignore the afterburn and by the time youre done eating the afterburn is already gone, but it still annoys me that im not at 300 health when im done eating :pudge:

I don't remember sandvich ever extinguishing you though. Maybe back when you could mow it with your feet.

That function has literally never existed. Sandvich heals 400 hp during the taunt, it's just that the excess health of that healing goes to waste unless you're actively being damaged.
We have gone roughly a month now without any updates; makes me think they are cooking something up for the end of Jungle Inferno as often speculated.
Then again thats what was also thought while we were waiting for JI. :v:
