Just saw someone in my Office in main menu in TF2. Made me smile.

Is there any reason for valve not to attempt to draw a bigger crowd for tf2 by offering to make promotions in other games or advertisements?

They don't do it with any of their games afaik? I have never seen a CSGO/Dota 2 ad, besides the third-party tournaments.

I will update the pack and will fix some more weapons, and the Conscious Objector. I decided to split the cosmetic and weapon visual issues emails in two, so that will come later.

...That's literally what they did for years. That's why we have items like Batman's hat, or little stuffed Lara Croft. They gave almost any game dev that asked (except Binding of Isaac) promotional items for pre-ordering the game.

To be honest I am kinda glad they reject some promo items. Like the 'poop hat' from Binding of Isaac.

Most OWL viewers are afking for skins. The game rewards you with OWL points to buy esport recolor skins just for having a linked twitch account and tuning into OWL. I do this. Open stream, mute tab, get points ect. I have no clue if this counts or not but the OWL stream will automatically play off the battle.net launcher if you just open the game. Which I imagine is another chunk of their viewers.

Was the sniper rifles having passive reloads intentional or not?

I can see why only Brimstone got in. Rest are fucking terrible.

I keep complaining about casual matchmaking but it keeps ruining my experience. I wait 15 minutes to get put in a Harvest match where the enemy team is almost entirely purple badges, my team is 4 players down and has one purple and mostly light blues, and it's just miserable. I'm now another 10 minutes into waiting for another match. Am I doing something wrong with my settings or something?

I'd just like auto scramble in casual to be honest. It has a 50/50 chance of working, I didn't run those numbers but hey.

Fun fact, the badge does not determine player's skill.

I see people with Red badges ( can't tell what tier though ) that are worse then people with the lowest badges lol. Those badges are nothing more then cosmetics IMO. Empty slots are all thanks to Rage Quit / Game Abandoners, which ruin games for me as well more then actual hackers do. Significantly more to be honest. Can't speak for the wait times though, I almost never wait more then 10-20 seconds to find a match. Might be your location perhaps...

Also, If you have a tiered badge, it doesn't show up what tier it is on the Scoreboard. My badge is Tier 2, dark blue, yet it shows completely white on the scoreboard.

I'm not sure if my my HUD is screwy, but I recently got tier 2 and my badge looks identical to a tier 1 of the same level as far as I can tell, which would make badge identification screwy.

What region are you in? What maps do you have selected? Do you by any chance have custom ping limit set incredibly low?

I don't even know how to set the custom ping limit, though perhaps the default is too low for my internet. I'm in the western US but my net situation isn't very good. When it's good it's great but usually I'm sitting at 130+ ping even in west coast servers.

If that is the case I recommend putting it higher at something like 130. The default appears to be going for a ping of 60 or so as the maximum.

I dunno if it's just me but, I really can't stand at playing anything higher than 85-90. That probably sounds picky but I feel like I can notice "it" at that point.

it's not picky at all. <50-60 is what you should be aiming for when you actually want your actions to behave the way you expect.
