who benefits from a ~rare~ strange item that is ~artificially rare~? does your item incease in value over time, is people protective of re-relases because they feel bad for paying that much for an original edition, or does it gain extra crit chance?

As someone who has a few of the rarer expensive stranges ( Kritzkrieg, HHHH, Gunslinger, ect). I could careless if they released this lol.

But Contra himself talked about a rare unbox, not a 2 euro item everybody will have. What are you going on about?

The funny thing is, Valve "accidentally" leaked "Universal" killstreak kits once. That worked out so "well" for killstreak kits and items that it took almost 2 years for MvM to be worth playing again.

How about a compromise - release a strangifier that's exclusively for items that don't have their own strange variant as of now? your precious kill counters will stay valuable, while the weapons that are yet to have their strange variant will have a tool that can make them strange

apologies, I was under the impression that the HHHH didn't have any tradeable variants, it was before my time why were the first batch tradeable while the vast majority weren't, anyways?

I had a burning ( which I sold later for 260 keys ) and scorching racks before they were misc. Sold the scorching one for 83 keys and the next week Valve made it misc. I instantly got an offer of 230 keys for my rack the day after, even though I had already sold it. I know that feeling of being fucked by Valve, and I really don't want to feel it again.

Valve should hurry up and make all weapons war-paintable just to let us watch all the hoarders of rare stranges crash and burn. We already have "Unusual" quality for rare items.

I own multiple expensive stranges and I wouldn't care at all. I bought them because I wanted a strange variant of the weapon, not because I wanted a "rare" item. I honestly want Valve to just make stranges easily available to everyone, and make strange variants for all weapons, including reskins and war painted weapons.

Let's give out free unusual random hat to every new player aswell. Oh also, let's nerf every class but Pyro. Oh oh, also, let's just rename the game to Overwatch.

TF2 is a video game. It's not supposed to be an investment or a savings account.

Well better fucking cash out soon, how do you sleep at night when Valve could actually do it overnight? Personally, I would and never will put money into this game thinking I will get it back. Or any game for that matter. Sure you could think about the items like a car that you use for a while and then sell again for a profit/small loss but honestly games ain't the same.

I love this honestly. More customization options is always great in my opinion. Now if only we'd have strange versions of all war paints.

I mostly want stranges for certain reskins for items like the Postal Pummeler or the Nessie's Nine Iron. Hell I wouldn't mind if they became options for War Paints.
