heard that the casual badges were updated so that it's easier to differentiate between them, anyone got pictures of what they look like?
Damn, I still love hats
Don't see how it's a contest. Balloonihoodie is at least kind of cute and sort of fitting (at least it could be made pyroland without any protest), the head prize is just blatantly furtrash. .
I'd erase a good chunk of the SF 2015 hats.
The Fox Pelt to see the furrie's reaction .
I still don't see the drama around the magical mercenary for it is a halloween hat and the voice lines for it are atleast comical, I do agree about the head prize and the banana hat though, and I'd say the catostrophic companions are worse just because of how low quality they are, it'll probably never happen since it'd completely rock the economy but I wish there would be an update to change what hats have and don't have halloween/full moon restrictions
I'm not interested what so ever in deleting cosmetics in a game that have no impact on the game itself. I'd rather they focus on something that's actually important...
Can somebody confirm whether the Claidheamh actually gives an increase in charging time? I've used it a few times since its revert and it feels like it doesn't, I was an avid user of it pre-rework and the extra charge time was very noticeable.
i like the new flame particles. It took a second to get used to, but i dont have problem with them. If anything it gives pyro a unique niche of being able to best disorient enemies, which i like, as i feel like each class should have a unique niche that doenst trump all other niches. Pyro has a focus of being able to disorient, frustrate healing and inflict ailments, as well as dissorganize enemies too by punishing grouped up players. I like that they aren't encreeping on other class's territory, and instead giving pyro his own.
One thing I still think should be considered is either adding a reload or over heat function to the gun to kind of discourage endless M1ing if they ever get Pyro's damage output correct. Mostly because allowing them to endless fire also means it's super forgivable in return to the class. Heavy actually has this issue as well. Other power classes have to micromanage their rockets, scattergunshots and pills/stickies so they don't get caught with their pants down and get stuck with an empty clip.
It has to be reasonable though I'd say, so that pyro can at least ambush and deal solid burst damage if played well. The main goal is to make pyro have to put a little more thought into when and where he should start trying to light people up.
Playing Highlander again after some time off and I'm actually having a really good time. It turns out that after playing for multiple seasons consecutively, you can kind of get stuck in certain ways- now that I've had an extended vacation from comp Spy, I've returned to it with all my previous skill and experience but with a more flexible and creative mindset. I've been thinking farther ahead and getting some much smarter picks- even with the death of the Ambassador, I've been performing quite well.
On an unfortunate sidenote, my hard drive died today, after 4 years of service. Fortunately I use an SSD as my boot/TF2 drive, so I didn't lose everything in one fell swoop, but it's still a sad day.
It does work, but if you switch away from the Claid you don't get the full effect (though you'll still go slightly further than a regular charge).

I always thought the Head Prize was for dressing up as a mountain man

It probably would be If furries didn't exist
I know badges don't get seen by players much but it would be neat if valve added casual/comp rank badges as rewards for reaching certain ranks and tiers
Someone made a kill icon for the Short Circuit alt-fire

Are custom kill icons allowed with sv_pure 1? (I know you can enter a pure 0 server to keep the custom content in pure 1 servers)
or this guy

I didn't really care for the Head Prize when it released, but I saw someone wearing it and the ears were all wiggly with jigglebones so y'know I was kind of required to get it at that point.
I don't have a problem with any of the "furbait" hats. It's not like furries are poisoning the game because a few wolfskin headpelts were added.
Head Prize seems too cartoon-ish for this.
K-9 Mane does a little better job.
Unpopular opinion: Those hats, and the pyroland/pony-inspired items are a plague upon the artstyle.
Even if you ignore the degenerate fandoms that have crept into the game, you still have a visually jarring and art breaking style that not even unsuals approach.
Those things should not exist, or be confined to pyroland where they belong.
I think people that really hate the Head Prize are forgetting that even if you delete it, we still have the problem of

You can as long as the new textures are in one of the whitelisted material folders (temp, hud, vgui/logos, etc.) and the script's path for the icons are adjusted accordingly. The "consistent kill icons" (and its updated version) work on Valve servers, though they haven't been updated for Blue Moon.
I guess I should count myself lucky that I don't see many toxic furries at all when I play. Rarely do I see noticeable furries at all. In fact, the only thing that comes to mind is seeing some textbind with the word yiff in it, and even then it's even-odds that that was just done ironically to get a rise out of people. And as always binds = muted, regardless.
Why is this a problem? Pretty cool hat.
this one is badass though, real hunter shit
so is the head prize, except just because it's a fox it's auto considered as OwO type shit
Why are support points shown at the end of a round? They make no sense. The only classes I ever see getting support points are medics, pyros and engineers because, well, they're supporting by extinguishing and healing. But the amounts are so random.
Sometimes I can be a medic for a whole round, get 27k heals and get 3000 support points, then my friend who extinguished a few snipers and hit a sapper off a dispenser gets double that. Is Valve planning something with them? If so, why are they there now?
The wiki doesn't help much either.
Because most self-respecting people don't talk about their weird kinks in public.
I was just watching through some old Half In The Bag videos from 2015 while chilling out.
When suddenly.
Out of the corner of my eye, in a couple of shots, not even fully in frame
I spot it.
