It's spelt epitome
Would you like fries with that?
Why are you being needlessly antagonistic?
bite me
oof calm down lad. with all that edge you might as well wear a lime green genuine anger. jokes aside i really would like to see more clean/simple skins put in a war paint case. along with that i do hope we get some of those cool looking journey to the east war paints. a lot of them look so good.
i know we antagonize furries but come on man
I've noticed that most of the time I get messages such as "Killed by %Killername%" or see votes come up as "%voteissue%". How can I go about fixing this?
I get glitchy strings like that pretty much every time I boot up the game, they always fix themselves the second time they're shown though. Tried hud_reloadscheme?
are you using a custom autoexec.cfg? i remember one command that used to give me that bug
Why did I just find a Winter 2017 case?
winter is coming for the money you never paid
i think its generally all agreed: all weapon skins should probably strange, and not so extremely expensive, and/or be able to apply on already existing weapons
I really liked the Virtual Economist's idea where skins would just come with a set rarity, no wears and the possibility of being strange/stat clock and a super rare chance of being an unusual.
Considering how skins/war paints are now in the mk. 2 phase, maybe they'll get abandoned like botkillers after their mk. 2?
strange part transfer tool when?
don't we have enough stuff from csgo already?
what does wanting a strange part transfer tool have to do with CS:GO?
CSGO doesn't have strange parts. The Meet your Match crate only had five strange parts, why will Valve not rerelease more. CSGO also has plenty of engine improvements that would be welcome
oh right. I mixed it up with the kill transfer.
TF2's strange transfer tool was programmed well and will transfer strange part counts if both weapons have the part.
CSGO's first skins could only be obtained within a small range of float (eg. only factory new and minimal wear), and the most flashy skins were the rarest, because they were checking if it was a good idea, and wears turned up fine in CSGO, I don't understand why they've gone all the way since the start with TF2.
Because skins were just added to TF2 without checking anything or making them fit TF2's existing item mechanics
after being dead for over 24 hours, my hard drive spontaneously revived itself when it initially died, I restarted/updated everything, took apart my PC, remounted my drives, etc...it seemed genuinely actually dead I was downloading a thing and my default download directory was on my HDD...and instead of Windows going like "hey that doesn't exist!" my HDD was just like "ok dude" and revived itself in light of this accomplishment, I have renamed it from "D:UMB STORAGE" to... https://i.imgur.com/NpjF1M6.png +cloak time: 24 hours -cloak may incite panic and disappointment in the user
Looks like it needs a nerf.
my biggest issue with the transfer tool has always been, you have to buy the strange parts, again, then the transfer tool, and then after all that money, youre stuck with your old weapon that is extremely hard to sell off for what you paid to have on it.
It's all to make Valve money, not to be convenient for the user.
Warpaint wears actually work fine just how valve set it up it looks garbage. Replace the scratch overlay with a blank white texture and its already improved, give certain warpaints an underlying wear texture (like on wood patterns) and that's a massive improvement.
i think a big incentive for me to put money into skins, is if they became more reasonably priced. 30$ for jus tthe paint i want in strange, and then i have to go thru all the hoops and ladders. just not worth it for just one item. I like the idea of getting a few different skins for a loadout or class, but if just one item is too high, i just forget about it. Of course regular stranges are fine so i mean, war paints can stay the same; i just feel right now, theres little incentive to invest.
I didn't realize the Bread Bites had a custom inspect animation but I gotta give props to Valve for making a cute little custom inspect animation for it instead of using the default heavy animation.
Why did paints go up in price so much? Non-team/rare paints used to be 5 ref each max. Now they cost around ~$1 each.
