i wonder how ranks and hours match up with people 4k hours + tier 2 around rank 90, can't remember exactly
i steped into casual way too late. i'm still in tier 1 at 148.
Level 146 tier 2
3500 hours and tier 2 + 100ish levels.
i dunno what a tier is and level 55 community servers are the way to go.
Prestige system bringing you back to level one. Would take a few thousand hours to get the max tier.
I think tiers are like Prestige from COD or Infamy in Payday 2: Another way to measure yourself against other players. Thanks for reminding my favourite community server is dead. No random crits. No random spread, and good maps. Oh how I miss that Criticuea.
I'd miss it too if i wasnt banned out of it. but we can always resurrect it on our own. if we pay.
Speaking of old, dead servers, I recently checked out Slag's Parkour Fortress server again, the only Slag server that ever has people in it anymore. Nothing works except for the PF mod itself. Maps don't even end properly anymore. It's awful. I'm beyond saddened by the death of Slag servers. Some of my favorite moments came from them. Playing Dodgeball, and Prop Hunt, and Fort Wars, and Mandrill Maze, and the first time Parkour Fortress really caught fire, and even that short period of time where it seemed like Mecha almost singlehandedly revived TF2ware.
https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/249703/28e36f47-907a-4847-8499-596037faefc8/cypehuM.png i dont play as much casual as i used to anymore desu
this reminds me, @agrastiOs tell valve to fix tf_use_match_hud 0 so it doesn't show an empty box when you start up the game with it off
I keep the match hud on, but I bound a button to toggle it, it will fix that bug.
Gotta agree. The server had a ton of issues. Mediocre to bad admins, unbalanced matches, and banning without reason. I think the server died when the biggest donator was banned without an exact reason. At least it managed to be a good thing (for the most part) while it was alive. I don't think the investment is worth it at this moment. A good community server requires an enormous amount of effort, people and motivation from the Admins/Mod to the playerbase.
I played MvM for the first time in ages. Holy crap is that dispenser nerf huge. I yelled at our poor engie to upgrade his dispenser range and he said "it's already maxed." I've completely had to re-learn my positioning when playing Heavy on Manhattan has a result.

So that is you I occasionally run into on Dustbowl.
Few days ago I got added by a person in Payday 2, now they're saying they got these items (War Pig is 300 keys on backpack.tf) on a site called gunshot.top. https://prnt.sc/jo7t5f They need to deposit five dollars of virtual items to take these items, and they would like my trading cards for steam money, is this legit?
Hoping that community servers will rebound a bit after this. I like Casual, but good community servers are still better by a long shot.
if it aint marketplace or scm its a dude trying to fuck you over speaking of scammers, got a scary bot telling me that my profile will be locked in 24 hours if I dont get added by an official steam admin, turns out it was the same fucking clown with the valve employee "certificate" artwork that added @Contra ages ago We told him that he is a bitch in polish and went along with a report, hours later and his profile looks like this: https://i.imgur.com/K9VQaJd.png Never saw an empty steam profile like that. Anyone has an idea?
I started using nothing but Natascha and now everyone hates me. What can I do to make them love Natascha as I do?
Don't use it, plain and simple. Unless you want more people to just counter pick you for being a dick.
I was always told to make every second count, and if you move through life too quickly, you'll never have a chance to savor the moment. I'm just helping people get the most out of life.
This is 100% a scam. Just think about it. How does this make sense? Why would they need to deposit $5 of virtual items to withdraw items they won, and why would they need YOU to supply them?
They would have been scammed as well, they decided against doing it. Thanks y'all for helping two people not get scammed.
Never forget what the wise man said... if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is
come on man, you telling me this nigerian prince isn't going to give me his money?
After I don't remember how many months and duels won/lost, I reached Tier 2. Well, TF2 keeps being as fun as ever, and people are actively communicating and talking over the mic more than ever before. Maybe its time to continue grinding for the platinum dueling badge. Just 134 duels more.
I'm fairly certain the duel minigame exists only to be farmed for that one-day hat, in modernity. Reported for literal shitposting.
if you report someone do it silently and not openly, it's like when people in chat say "wow, MUTED YOU." - great, no one gives a shit
You can't trade steam money directly.
