Interesting combo: Dragon's Fury double tap + Panic Attack to essentially instantly kill light classes. With the Dragon's Fury, missing your shots is a death sentence against classes like the Scout, and even when hitting a Scout twice with the DF the afterburn will take a bit to kill them, leaving the Scout several shots to kill you if you miss your third shot. Panic Attack to the rescue! Not only does it's quick switch-speed allow you to essentially instantly deal damage after switching to it BUT it's huge spread makes it very hard to not hit the Scout! While it at the distance you'll be fighting your scout won't be dealing a lot of damage (10-20) it'll be MORE than enough to instantly kill the Scout after double tapping him with the DF! I recommend it, it works like a charm, might wanna get a strange panic attack because of that.
or just use an actual good shotgun that's applicable to any situation and can finish off things just as well
or just use an actual good shotgun that's applicable to any situation and can finish off things just as well
Because variety. And Panic Attack's model looks damn good.
or just use an actual good shotgun that's applicable to any situation and can finish off things just as well
Except that you can miss people with it a lot easier aswell as it having a lower switch to time - the time the Panic attack saves can be a major gamechanger.
Except that you can miss people with it a lot easier aswell as it having a lower switch to time - the time the Panic attack saves can be a major gamechanger.
"being bad" isn't an argument. RS is very fast too, and you get the benefit of it being a solid shotgun for other purposes.
Where are the killfeed weapon icons in the files? (had an internet outage since yesterday)
You could check what currently costs the most on SCM and spend all blood money on it to resell on SCM
Civic Duty and Civil Servant have the best bloodmoney-to-steam market ratio, so just buy a bunch of those
Except that you can miss people with it a lot easier aswell as it having a lower switch to time - the time the Panic attack saves can be a major gamechanger.
How do you mange to do less than 20 damage with a shotgun at DF range?
"being bad" isn't an argument. RS is very fast too, and you get the benefit of it being a solid shotgun for other purposes.
RS isn't nearly as fast as the Panic Attack, and for other purposes you have the Dragon's Fury. It's mostly about the Switch speed, the "spread" is a bonus if you will If "being bad" wasn't an argument then we might aswell remove the Machina or Sydney Sleeper, 100% efficacy is something theoretical, not practical
RS isn't nearly as fast as the Panic Attack, and for other purposes you have the Dragon's Fury. RS gives the fast switch you so look for. the difference between rs and panic does not matter as much as you think. hell, stock shotgun switches fast enough to do the follow-up.
If "being bad" wasn't an argument then we might aswell remove the Machina or Sydney Sleeper, 100% efficacy is something theoretical, not practical
i don't understand what you're getting at? your argument was "but if you miss!!" well don't MISS then.
To be honest, I'd entirely prefer flaregun if we're doing the one-two-switch-fire tactic. Cuz then no matter what distance or situation I have a controllable 95 damage crit in hand that isn't just restricted for close-quarter combat, being the oddity that is Panic Attack.

I tried the Dragon's Fury/Panic Attack combo in a few games and it's actually a pretty fun combo. Yeah you're pretty much useless at long range but humiliating enemies by killing them with the Panic Attack more than makes up for that.
I found the reason all text added after JI wasn't localized for me, I had a training mod in the custom folder which had its own tf_english which was loaded instead of the one in the resource folder, and the mod one wasn't updated. edit: does anyone else's game get a black screen when loading after startup with mat_antialias set to 1? The console says it's changing the resolution, but to the same value, so from 1600x900 to 1600x900 for me.
Side note about translation. JI video still hasn't got any subtitles and probably won't get them. It's sad as Meet the Medic, Meet the Pyro and Expiration Date all has subtitles in 15+ languages. It's helpful for people, who missed some word from speech. Or for people who don't know English.
Pretty neat health pack themed war paint.
Pretty neat health pack themed
I feel like that only makes sense for medic weapons
I'd like it if they made a Red team alternate. I know some existing skins have fudged team recognition, but I still think it's good to avoid that.
I'd like it if they made a Red team alternate. I know some existing skins have fudged team recognition, but I still think it's good to avoid that.
Yeah Neo Tokyo has a blue version but Valve never added it for some reason
Yeah Neo Tokyo has a blue version but Valve never added it for some reason
Didn't Valve also give it random orientation instead of the fixed one the author intended? I really liked that skin before it got added haha.
I'd rather not mistake a gun on the ground for a healthpack.
Scorch Shot requires setup and is easy to miss if you try to do it after the double tap. That, and as I mentioned in the post, I know the Afterburn will finish them off. It's the time it take's for them to die that is problematic; The Panic Attack optimizes the combo to the point where there is essentially no time delay between double tap and death, so no scout mains can kill you before they die.
I have always found it immensely difficult to miss with the scorch shot's exploding projectile. You do it before the double tap, switch weapons, and now you'll and you'll have a great long time to hit more than one shot with the DF, which itself isn't too hard
So when is Valve going to nerf the Mad Milk?
So when is Valve going to nerf the Mad Milk?
Well the earliest chance would be the yearly summer balance update, also what even really is the link between the Shortstop, Mad MIlk, and the Holy Mackerel, all I can think of is that they're all white, and I guess the Shortstop could be a defense weapon for milkmen in the TF universe since they make up the Special Delivery set?
Well the earliest chance would be the yearly summer balance update, also what even really is the link between the Shortstop, Mad MIlk, and the Holy Mackerel, all I can think of is that they're all white, and I guess the Shortstop could be a defense weapon for milkmen in the TF universe since they make up the Special Delivery set?
Mad milk is milk, mackerel is fish, and a peppergun for seasoning. Scout is delivering food to people.

Oh I was looking at the files and made a connection, Valve may have made a genius Pyro update tease with the Pyro winner picture. [t]https://steamcdn-a.akamaihd.net/steam/news/23536/pyrowinner.png?t=1471279480[/t] Look at the lollipops, four are in the red present and one is in the cherub Heavy's mouth, Pyro got four new weapons and Heavy got one, which was a food item.
So when is Valve going to nerf the Mad Milk?
who cares about mad milk?
who cares about mad milk?
1vs1 scout can often outheal heavy's dmg lol
1vs1 scout can often outheal heavy's dmg lol
Actually the Mad Milk sounds like it would fit better as a Heavy weapon, Scout can just run to health packs, and Scout's speed and ability to get in position to throw it at groups sounds like a reason why it's banned in 6s. edit: that seems like a sneaky jab at why exor wants the Milk nerfed :v:
Shortstop used to improve the healing mad milk did for him
Think I thought of that but the extra Shortstop healing apparently didn't apply to the Mad Milk healing, guess that's why I didn't count it.
1vs1 scout can often outheal heavy's dmg lol
Because a class balanced around being a glass cannon with speed and mobility tools to avoid damage needs the capacity to tank. It's completely balanced, right guys?!
