The whole point is that he's completely defeated, his mission was in vain and he's gonna die from the violent volcano eruption right behind him, all because he got jumped by a bunch of idiots. Him showing any emotion other than complete confusion and defeat, especially after getting the shit kicked out of him and hearing his certain doom would completely ruin the joke.
I would have liked the entry to be a short spy film instead of a parody.
The issue with IP bans is that some people have dynamic IPs.
To Elaborate, this causes 2 issues:
It doesn't keep the person banned.
It can interfere with the next person who gets that IP.

I was also disappointed to see the TF team at the end (and talking). It felt really out of place and awkward to me.
But the creators made a fantastic video nonetheless. I made up my mind not to let the one choice I disagreed with spoil the whole thing for me.

I'm extremely late in posting about this, but this is genuinely everything I've wanted out of TF2 for years
Heavy emphasis on the Spytech theme while introducing new characters/organizations independent of the ones already established in TF2's universe. I hope this spurs Valve into doing something similar in the official game, or as a new IP
Agent Gunn might win the "best saxxy I have ever seen" tbh, it just kinda blows everything out the water.
There was not a single stiff animation or scene that felt boring or stupid, and it absolutely nailed the "mostly silent" SFM movie thing.

Tenth class confirmed.
I was already sold on Agent Gunn pretty early, but the shot where he's sneaking past a number of rooms that are all brimming with personality was simply incredibly.

Lots of great gags in that little part. "Meating Room," "Shark Access," the guy testing bladed hats, the posters. It's really packed.
I definitely had to rewatch it a good few times to appreciate all the little details I merely scanned over the first time.
Agent Gunn is so excellent the makers should get special in-game Saxxys that turn dead enemies in to diamond. It's so great they should reference it somewhere, like a sign for Gunn's Detective Agency or something.
It's great, but the audio holds it back a bit.
As a stealth game fanatic (spy main likes stealth games? no way!), Agent Gunn had me squealing with glee pretty much the entire time. It's easily the most deserving of Best Overall, and everything from its superb detailing, score and choreography scream quality.
There are so many good entries that are going to get blown out by bigger teams this year.
Like this.

One Saxxy video by Hex isn't working, video is unavailable, also the Lupin and Black channels that were submitting stolen videos got terminated for copywright infringement, source
I'd honestly be surprised if Agent Gunn doesn't win best overall, they've obviously earned it. I'd also be surprised if valve wouldn't offer at least one of the creators of it a job considering how high quality yet obviously tf2-styled all the models and animation seem to be
I was looking at the r/Artifact thread about the Magic the Gathering creator, Richard Garfield pitched the idea to Valve and saw something interesting, source
Also worth noting that Garfield's influenced Valve before, the TF2 team says they added crits and other stuff to the game after going to Garfield's seminars.
I thought crits were just the slightly changed quad damage concept from Quake.

Idea probably stemmed from it... There's a few idea's I feel originated custom mods that were popular back in QuakeWorld Team Fortress. Two examples are as following:
I'm possitive that Airblast originated from the ability "Air Fist" that the sniper had in the mod "Custom TF":

You see it at the 0:52 second mark in that video above. The Jetpack came from Mega Team Fortress's Scout ability "JetJump". Because back then Scout sucked balls and this was actually a good change lol. Both of those mods were of the two most popular mods for the original quake... I'm pretty sure Robin in co were aware of them too at the time.
On a side note, finally got to do some of the Titanium Tank Tour finally and now down 2 missions. They're pretty fun over all. The second one I feel seemed a bit easier then the first, which starts off easy then spikes up pretty nicely Wave 5+.

dude im still waiting for the update agrastios said we would get this week
Agent Gunn had to be the most TF2 thing I've seen in a long, long time. It's perfectly in the spirit of what the TF dev team was going for in 2007. Having the team's cameo also ties it so well into the more current stuff they're doing, like how in the comics no one else in the world (TFC mercs included) can seem to beat them since they're hypercompetent idiots. Great gags, love the spytech emphasis, 10/10.
Titanium Tank MVM be like:

gee wilikers a one million dollar prize pool announced for an unreleased game while a game that'd be excellent for a comp tournament gets no official sponsorship/prize pool from valve.
I am angry.

why didn't you play titanium tank before the badge came out? of course everyone is going to be clamoring all over it now since a free hat is involved.

"there'll also be professional tournament tracks the same way that you see professional tracks in TF, CS and Dota"
"TF"
where can I see that?
