When you do a reverse image search for it on google nothing comes up so it's probably an original picture of a Valve employee's baby.

> The new weapons for Pyro are so broken that they make people nostalgic for the days when the Degreastinguisher combo reigned supreme.

You forgot the out of place ponyland and ugly cosmetics.
They give pyro an ice flamethrower
-The Pyro Class renamed to The Cryo for pressing ceremonial reasons.

It's gonna be a good day for Heavy and Engineer players.
>More cringy and overpriced taunts.
Overpriced? Yes. But, cringy? I don't think too many of the taunts have been cringy. Some have been random or not worth the inclusion, but I would not say there are too many (if any) overly terrible or cringe taunts.

Lime green and hot pink scout scattergun skins
They give pyro an ice flamethrower
you mean and ice thrower.

I did not think they would just grab some image off the web, but good idea to check.
Quick, look up all Valve employees and try to find pictures of their family members. It may provide a hint on the next update release date, like being on the same day as the trial or being written on the bottom of the restraining order.
While we're at it. Let's discuss, what is the worst possible way for this update to launch?
Let's get our hopes down.
> Pyro gets a new weapon that is a crit gimmick that makes the flare gun obsolete.
> Pyro's speed gets bumped to Scout speed.
> Pyro can now rocket jump with airblast at will and can continue to do it through the air to fly.
> Heavy's minigun revamp gets re-nerfed due to new players claiming it was too overpowered.
Throwback to like 7 years ago in middle school when I met the pyro on omegle.

Happy birthday TF2! Here's to hopefully another 10 somewhat decent years!

if these happened i'd be happy
I think tweaking each of the flare guns to allow and encourage flare jumping more is a better option, having pyro jumping around via firey explosions seems more fitting than him farting around with air blast.

I knew I'd recognize that mask. I know that dude irl. he's my best friend (who happened to be a pyro main back in the day)

What is this? A crossover episode?!
Anyways, your friend seems to like the Pyro a lil' too much.
You could have told me Episode 3 would be out before the Jungle Update and I'd laugh, but here we are.
:suicide:
They're saving the update for Team Crabwalk Rocketjump Fortress's sweet sixteen.
i wonder now that marc laidlaw has given details about half life 3 if former TF team member will give any info about past and canceled projects

They won't, they aren't allowed to share stuff owned by Valve.
Laidlaw posted about what he imagined would happen

this saddens me as it gives an impression that he didn't really do any work on it while at Valve, I don't see another Half-Life anymore, I'm just glad he shared this with us, I'll just consider it the official ending and move on.

Metaru actually used to cosplay Pyro, probably how they met.

Based on some of the leaked concept art for Episode 3/Half Life 3 it does appear the outline that Laidlaw provided was the planned storyline.

This could be the case, as some speculates that this was posted because his ep 3 NDA expired this year, no solid proofs though
There passes this week. Atleast it has been kinda eventful. Looking at the raffle, a lot of hopes of this thread are directed at next week, and so are mine.
I can only recommend watching i61 to kill some time till the next fateful days. Even if you aren't interested in comp, it's very exciting and fun.
I'd rather just play the game, honestly. That way I can experience the usual proliferation of Soldiers and Scouts for myself.
Attack Class Fortress 2
Somethimes i think: how could we increase interest in playing unpopular classes while saving their basic properties? Is there a way to making, say, Heavy or Engineer more appealing to people? Is there a shortage of interesging mechanics? Not enough weapons to fit people's playstyles? Or maybe game itself doesn't emphasize their role enough? There are many ways in making classes more fun and use, but still nothing could be done about player distribution in a large scale, because there will always be more people that want to click at stuff to make it die than ones who want to chase their teammates, build an outpost, or lay down covering fire. Such is sad truth of life.
Even competitive, the supposed highest point of TF2 boils down possible team maneuvers to basic attack class interactions.
To me, it seems that game is flawed by design. It relies too much on cooperation between people who see each other for first and last time of their lifes. It rewards too much personal acomplishments while big chunk of team beneficial actions remain unnoticed. Together, those two factors create an unpleasant picture where map objective is only to reset timers so that team deathmatch could continue.

When I play casual it seems to me like Engineer and Heavy are a bit too popular already.
As for competitive TF2, the meta abides by the same rules as every competitive game regardless of genre - the fastest guy who gets the most work done gets picked the most. Heavy ain't that guy, neither is Engi.

Strange. For me, if we were to exclude instakill gamblers that are Snipers and Spies - it's always soldierfest. Yes, sometimes Engineers go overboard, but only on CTF and rarely. And Heavy or even Demo are uncommon
Will we ever see issue 7, without Jay Pinkerton?
Sorry, I've been out of the loop then and the recent release of HL3's story has made me a little nervous
