Will we ever see issue 7, without Jay Pinkerton? Sorry, I've been out of the loop then and the recent release of HL3's story has made me a little nervous
I'm assuming they at least have a general outline/idea of the plot of the final comic from the guys who left Valve and they still have Sheila Sadeghi who I'm guessing is the main TF2 writer now.
Will we ever see issue 7, without Jay Pinkerton? Sorry, I've been out of the loop then and the recent release of HL3's story has made me a little nervous
he probably finished writing it long before leaving valve.
What is this? A crossover episode?! Anyways, your friend seems to like the Pyro a lil' too much.
You know nothing By the way, Ill be attending MCM london Comic Con in October. If anyone wants to join me and hang around let me know o/
Will we ever see issue 7, without Jay Pinkerton? Sorry, I've been out of the loop then and the recent release of HL3's story has made me a little nervous
Jay is still contracting for valve
Attack Class Fortress 2 Somethimes i think: how could we increase interest in playing unpopular classes while saving their basic properties? Is there a way to making, say, Heavy or Engineer more appealing to people? Is there a shortage of interesging mechanics? Not enough weapons to fit people's playstyles? Or maybe game itself doesn't emphasize their role enough? There are many ways in making classes more fun and use, but still nothing could be done about player distribution in a large scale, because there will always be more people that want to click at stuff to make it die than ones who want to chase their teammates, build an outpost, or lay down covering fire. Such is sad truth of life. Even competitive, the supposed highest point of TF2 boils down possible team maneuvers to basic attack class interactions. To me, it seems that game is flawed by design. It relies too much on cooperation between people who see each other for first and last time of their lifes. It rewards too much personal acomplishments while big chunk of team beneficial actions remain unnoticed. Together, those two factors create an unpleasant picture where map objective is only to reset timers so that team deathmatch could continue.
Mind you. Of all things the clusterfuck wich is your average tf2 match often rewards team efforts by making individual contributions be as valuable as coordinated efforts, with the outcome rewarding a common goal. every class has an inherent match up and a tandem that are not set in stone. Not even class roles are defined and enforced: every single class can and will go offensive, defensive or support depending what each player feels like doing.
I'm relatively sure the comic process is writing -> drawing -> coloring -> polishing -> release Meaning Issue 7 is likely already written
It's possible that the comic is even completed, but they're just waiting for the update to release it.
It's possible that the comic is even completed, but they're just waiting for the update to release it.
It's not that far off to think that, with the recent delay of the update, that could very well be the case.
I knew I'd recognize that mask. I know that dude irl. he's my best friend (who happened to be a pyro main back in the day)
You can tell him that he made my night that day.
Will the hl3 thing hurt the update hype when it launches?
Will the hl3 thing hurt the update hype when it launches?
I don't think there's any update hype to ruin at this point.
[thumb]http://www.sourceop.com/hell-met/golden.jpg[/thumb] this really bothers me more than it should.
[thumb]http://www.sourceop.com/hell-met/golden.jpg[/thumb] this really bothers me more than it should.
Did you e-mail them already?
Did you e-mail them already?
I don't know how to fix it so they won't do a thing unless you hand-feed them the recipe.
Hype Icebreaker will remain in dry docks until further notice. You can wait for the Artifact in the meantime. -Gabin
any news on artifact tho?
I don't know how to fix it so they won't do a thing unless you hand-feed them the recipe.
Surely it wouldn't be that hard to fix the golden wrench, right? I could imagine them just updating it to look like a complete-australium wrench. You don't see australium weapons doing this, so surely it'd just be that easy
I don't know how to fix it so they won't do a thing unless you hand-feed them the recipe.
k den have fun with the broken wrench
Well, time to pack it up boys. It's over. Half life episode three was confirmed dead before the pyro update. Everything non-dota or vr related is officially dead to valve, so too will CSGO likely be in a few years as the next victim of valve's neglect after they're done letting TF2 rot, as even it is seeing questionable, uninspired mtx-based updates instead of real content. It happened with l4d, day of defeat, and maybe one day even dota 2 once the moba craze dries up. Valve has failed as a major game developer, and now it's time to move along.
What.
Hopefully with the disgrace that is artifact and this public "fuck you valve, sincerely Laidlaw" Valve will finally get the memo and do something besides sit on their incompetent asses.
the thing is they aren't failures. look at steam and their billions dollars
Hopefully with the disgrace that is artifact and this public "fuck you valve, sincerely Laidlaw" Valve will finally get the memo and do something besides sit on their incompetent asses.
Cant say that I support the fuck artifact train without actually seeing the game. But oh boy today was a big let down, hope valve talks about it soon. Also, they are not the same guys anymore that made me want to be a game developer, they just are there.... selling skins and shit to everyone. Miss valve, like for real
Well, time to pack it up boys. It's over.
this is, what, the fifteenth time you've posted this?

Valve has no need to make Half Life 3, or another top notch singleplayer game. They just dont sell as well as multiplayer games.
Hopefully with the disgrace that is artifact and this public "fuck you valve, sincerely Laidlaw" Valve will finally get the memo and do something besides sit on their incompetent asses.
They're not incompetent. They're complacent and out of touch
this is, what, the fifteenth time you've posted this?
You're thinking of my comments on the pyro update 'toweek for sure' hype. Nah man, I'm saying people have to get off the general "valve is infallible and memey all hail gaben" train we've been on for many years.

If you're still expecting people to beg you to stay and enjoy valve then i have bad news for you.
