Like I said yesterday, I really dont think he would make a tweet like that unless he had permission from the team and for sure knew something would happen.

Well that date and the jungle doodle basically confirm its next week. In what way could this imply something else? The Team knew this was Dane, and its obvious that this lil meet up was kinda planned. So, this is how Im seeing it: A. They totally planned for Dane to see that and we are getting it next week. B. It's fucking jill I'm rolling with A because I dont think Jill is this heartless. [B]Why are people so unsure about this being the date of the Update releasing?[/B]

I'm sure that Jill (and other people working at TF2 that -might- be looking at community sites) saw our madness progress as time passed with no update in sight, so maybe it's not that far-stretched, who knows.

So yeah, it kinda means a lot to me in the sense I'd like things to get fixed sooner rather than at an undisclosed date.

Don't get the impression that I'm a no-lifer. The reason this may be more important or distressing to me than others lies in the fact that there's very little on the multiplayer gaming market that holds my interest, and nothing released since TF2 in 2007 has been worthy of replacing it as my gaming mainstay, due to my tastes being in opposition to what seems to be currently in vogue. (And if I have to clarify further, I only manage time to play for maybe one or two hours a day, if that.) The recent failed launch of [I]LawBreakers[/I], a game I genuinely did manage to like, only served to add to this frustration. Unless, of course, the insinuation is that gaming itself isn't a hobby worth caring much about.

Ofc we all want the update to come asap and tf2 matters a ton to all of us otherwise we wouldn't be here. But being super obsessive and overly dramatic about every unconfirmed little info is unhealthy and just leads to disapointements.

It was the act, not the information, that agitated me. It's fine now however, he apologized and there is still a chance the date is meaningful. The only thing that will disappoint me is the update, and even then, at least I won't have to concern myself with the Sandman and Crit-a-Cola anymore.
