Honesty I would like casual to have a limit of 2 each for spy, sniper and engie and 3 each for the other classes but I doubt Valve will ever do it because there would almost certainly be a shitstorm.

I'd do universal 2 in Casual, then 2-1-1 (Offense-Defense-Support) for Comp.
As much as I agree about engie stacking, if I had the power to limit any class it'd be Medic, at 1. Medics getting healed by medics is an absolute nightmare to play against if your team doesn't match their numbers.
This is a big problem I have with asymmetrical maps. The effort required for a trio of barely competent engies to stall progress is way lower than the effort required to push through them. They don't even need to coordinate beyond not building side-by-side. If they've got even a couple of good combat classes on their team, then the burden of intelligent, coordinated play is severely higher for the attacking team than the defending.
It's a lot better now than it was in years past, but it still turns matches into boring meat-grinders too often for my taste.
That's one of the problems of a 12v12 environment with no class limits. There can be 3-4 engineers just piling on last, while there still being 4-6 decent players on the team keeping you from doing ANYTHING.
I'd like to see there be a Casual option for 6v6, once Competitive really gets started.
Engie stacking is somewhat countered by map design, If the points are open enough or large enough with sufficient flanking routes it becomes harder for two or three engies to lock down an entire point enough that their sentries can perfectly protect each other.

Pretty sure that's a "New World Order" shirt.
Today marks the five year anniversary of me making an account for this JBMod forum to monitor the Pyromania update with my favorite TF2 speculators. I feel like doing something special for you guys, but I need ideas. Should I do a raffle or something?

In the words of my lord and savior, Donald Glover, do what you want.
Raffles are cool, but since this is TF2 you can also do stuff like SFM posters and whatnot.
How about I do a raffle for whatever items from my inventory I feel like parting with. Rate hearts to enter, cuts off at 25 entries.
so for over a month i think i've been suffering from random FPS drops on the game that are gamebreaking for me, and i havent been able to pin point exactly what causes them
http://imgur.com/a/inmJi
my framerate would dip as low as 8-9 and remain capped at that for several seconds, negating whatever i was doing at the moment and rendering the game into a slideshow.
even if i set everything to the lowest configuration, the game will still take a dive and render itself umplayable. this only started like two updates ago aparently, i've asked people around and other folks have mentioned how their game would suffer the same issue - although it seems it not a widespread thing.
i'm going to send this to eric in hopes that something can be done, or to investigate if something is actually affecting the game.

I would blame background softwares or anything outside of tf2 first, since you still clearly get normal fps at times

I made an habit of never running anything besides whatever i'm playing after years of having a toaster to play games and having to save every bit of ram.
after futher inspection, i recall there was a win10 update as well in the timeframe where this began to be a thing.
however, it is completely random: sometimes i can get a good playthrough without any issue and out of nowhere it will hit me hard. spent a good 3-4 rounds on offline practice with nothing triggering it, despite already suffering the same issue on a previous session on the same exact enviroment,
I get anywhere from 60 to 100 fps (as well as a ping that usually hovers somewhere around 20 at the highest), yet I also get moments where the game just freezes for like 10-30 seconds at a time.
It doesn't play that *coming out of water* sound, so I doubt the problem is internet-based, it just stops and stutters the last sound effect that played (including mic chatter). And then it zips back to normal, usually after I've been killed (so I get a lovely earrape combo of a critsound, death yell, death jingle, and killcam zoom all condensed into a half-second). This usually happens maybe once every hour or two and it's never not frustrating, any ideas what it could be? All my drivers are up to date and I never run anything extra in the background besides Steam itself.
I get good framerates except when there's the team outline at respawn.

Yeah, as a Medic main it's such a god damn useful feature, but the fps loss is too great for me to keep it on, so i have it disabled
I'm at 106 duels won. The game puts me at rank ~8550, and holy shit, I have seen an incredible amount of Bronze Dueling Badges popping out after a duel.

Possibly overheating graphics card. Swapped/corrupted models/textures are a common symptom of this.

Don't have any issues with textures, but I wouldn't be surprised if my toaster was getting a bit too toasty. I've got an external fan and have cleaned out all my vents, I just wish I could control the speed of my internal fan to ensure everything stays as cool as possible.

Never understood why after large freezes the game plays this sound...

Clearly while your game chokes, your character is drowning.
Once the games stops freezing they're able to breathe again.
is quickiebomb actually balanced? i still think the latest stat change was unnecessary
is quickiebomb actually balanced? i still think the latest stat change was unnecessary
I'd consider it as such, even though some called it OP back then I'd say its in a fairly OK spot right now.

I find the stock Stickybomb Launcher the better of the two.
Question, i installed a custom critsound and i've been trying to figure out why it only plays a distorted, deeper version of said custom critsound whenever i crit. Is there a way to fix it?

That would probably be sv_pure 1 at work. I believe the only custom sounds allowed on sv_pure 1 servers are hitsounds and killsounds, though I may be wrong.

That's the thing, i was testing it on tr_walkway and turned sv_pure off and it was still garbled.
In advanced options you can change the pitch of hitsounds and killsounds, you could see if altering those has any effect.
