What is it with hackers having expensive inventories?
Gullible people think people with expensive items cannot hack as "who would want to lose such an expensive inventory?" so it serves as sort of "kick/report prevention". There have been tones of hackers like that.. (CSGO for exaple had few with expensive knifes and Dragon Lore AWP)
Wow. One of the most vile, attention-whoring rage hackers in TF2 just got smacked with the VAC hammer today. Older alt: http://steamcommunity.com/id/FaggotfaceMcGee Current alt: https://steamcommunity.com/id/ROFLHexahedron RIP $440 inventory: https://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198118209033 In early 2016 I got spawncamped by this asshat and two of his medic buddies. He was headshotting us through the door of the main spawn in 2Fort. I wen uber medic, hid in the one place he could not hit me, and then built up a charge. I popped on a backburner pyro (who was handy) and helped him get revenge. Said rage hacker talked all sorts of shit about "WM1." It's pretty funny when someone who blatantly cheats in TF2 calls into question the tactics of players using legitimate techniques. Rest in hell.
Lol, did his alt just get banned to?
The two alts that were banned today were probably tied to the same mobile phone #.
Played a "few" matches of Casual today and noticed a bug. After the metal door that showcases the players or whatever opens, the 10 seconds go but you still can't move because announcer hasn't said her thing yet, every so often one guy could start running before anyone else. And it was always just one dude and it didn't seem to matter which map or class you played. Has anyone else noticed anything like this?

Not sure if anyone has noted this yet bu i have stumbled across a bug where the intel in hellfire can fly around out of the map. i forgot to record this but if anyone has had this happen to you yet please let me know Edit: my younger brother got a screen shot of it, that small blue dot is the intel... as you may see it says its in the home base

He was also using an aimbot, so it's probably a hack that allows you to do that.

It allows for all sorts of malfeasance (insta-decloak, insta-capping points, removal of debuffs, etc etc) and is apparently one of the harder cheat actions to patch.
The Phlog doesn't know what it wants to be, it needs to be reworked from the ground up, probably taking inspiration from it's technological design.
I think it should be like the other grodbort weapons and not require ammo, or have it passively regenerate. The crits on demand thing has been dumb since day one.

I wish we could stop giving them so much attention
I think it should be like the other grodbort weapons and not require ammo, or have it passively regenerate. The crits on demand thing has been dumb since day one.
Not requiring ammo has always been a pointless stat haphazardly stuck on grordbort weapons for novelty sake. The pomson doesn't have any stats that come close to encouraging a flanking roamer playstyle, so you're going to be near your team and dispensers anyway. Why would you EVER need infinite ammo reserves with it? Same with bison, it's always been the worst soldier secondary for roaming, so why would it ever have that stat?
- Precision - Removed self-blast damage
Probably unintentional, but this change makes the Precision powerup totally remove all self damage. I tested it with Soldier, Demoman, Pyro, Scout (Boston Basher & Atomizer) and Engineer. Furthermore, it actually blocks not only the damage but the damageforce too. Which means that you can't do any explosive jumps/whatever with the powerup active.
Nope, it's definitely just a glitch that I am talking about because me and my friend were also able to do so on random occasions and I saw it happen many, many times today and never before.
I would love to see footage of this glitch happening without the aid of cheat software.
lol
I mean yeah it's funny that he got hit by the ban hammer but note when he posted that, may of last year. God only knows how long he's been doing it and valve's just now doing something about it?
-snip, false alarm-
Makes me wish Valve had a team dedicated to hunting out the main accounts of repeating cheaters every month or so. (That is if they don't already have that). And perhaps putting them on a watch list for suspicious alts made by them. It's strangely satisfying seeing their main accounts with rich backpacks getting locked and unable to be used for eternity and them acting like they "Totally don't even care bruh, not even mad" when we pretty much know they're typing up their seething rage for valve on reddit.
Okay so I've been thinking about the phlog and how it could be made to be less bullshit: +Doesn't require ammo +Shooting the phlog builds a heat meter broken into 4 pieces, every full piece gives you an air blast, at full meter you have to air blast to vent the weapon - -50% less ammo capacity This would give the phlog the air blast back, a pyro without an air blast is pretty gimped. This would also discourage w+m1 shenanigans because you have a lower ammo cap. It'd also mean you can't just air blast constantly either. And if needed another one of these stats could further put the phlog as sidegrade: -reflected projectiles are not crit boosted Or -reflected projectiles vanish as if zapped by the short circuit Also I like the infinite ammo thing, I often run out of ammo when I play TF2 :saddowns:
+Doesn't require ammo - -50% less ammo capacity
you havin' a laugh mate
Just replace the crits with a speed boost+minicrits and give it the short circuit alt-fire so you can deal with projectiles.
Just replace the crits with a speed boost+minicrits and give it the short circuit alt-fire so you can deal with projectiles.
I'd actually like to see a pyro flamethrower with an alt-fire that doesn't push or extinguish, but just destroys projectiles. It'd be a better option for dealing with sticky traps than pushing them away or pulling out your shotgun, especially if it kept the airblast's range.
you havin' a laugh mate
how can you overlook a thing like this
Anyone have any idea about the new skins coming out? Like what kinds of skin collections do you think we're getting and for what weapons?
Short circuit on Pyro.Class that can REDIRECT incoming projectiles by default.:goodjob:
You do know the phlog doesn't even have an airblast to begin with, right? The ability to destroy multiple projectiles at once and extinguish teammates if you also use the manmelter is better than literally nothing.
Anyone have any idea about the new skins coming out? Like what kinds of skin collections do you think we're getting and for what weapons?
same weapons, better skins... specifically ones that arent dirt, brick, or plad textures. one could only hope.
you havin' a laugh mate
Clip size then? I don't know what to call the flamethrower's stock of ammo. What I'm getting at is rather than 200 units of fuel, you'd only have 100 units worth of constant flaming

So sad to see it was caught up in all of this, and now because of this twat, it has to pay the ultimate price of never being enjoyed again. A moment of silence to remember this poor soul of an unusual taunt. You will not be forgotten until we hit a new page of this thread.
