It's absolute necessity for precision rocket and stickyjumps, it allows to control time you stay in air and to some degree select either if you want to be ON that ledge or NEAR it. And it's not that hard, really, people pick that up intuitively with no problem for the most part. But they can go route which Crowbar Collective went with Black Mesa and introduce option for autocrouchjumping. You know, for severely... There's a pro version of Badlands? I thought they always played normal badlands in comp? Speaking of comp did anyone watch the prolander 7v7 finals last weekend? I honestly found having more classes available and maps that don't basically have unlimited time make the game far more enjoyable to watch than regular 6s.

I really hope they start going over every map and making them more fun. 2fort, Dustbowl, Gorge... So many of the older maps could use some more pathways, flank routes, catwalks, etc

I mean, as much as you might dislike b4nny, he's still the guy that TF2 team keeps in touch with, so it's no surprise that he might've been told about the competitive-orientated changes that will be brought in this update.

He is okay with a full-time Pyro (in his words, he is okay with Pyro becoming the 4th generalist, along with soldier, scout, and demoman), and is okay with earth-shattering changes to the meta.
The school year here in Texas starts in 13 days. That's kind of disappointing. 5 years ago, I'd always have at least one major update and a summer update to look forward to during the summer. I guess the era of consistent updates that weren't buggy as hell upon release has come to close. Valve will never release an update as great or as memorable as MVM again :( Valve will never release a lore changing update like Pyromania again :( Remember ARGs? I do. I remember when Facepunch spent 2 days trying to figure out the significance of a chat message that'd only appear if you high-fived someone with a Barely Melted Capacitator. I remember the amount of speculation that went on trying to figure out the meaning of "TOBOR". Those were good times. Remember hidden links? Y'know, like the one on the Classless Update that led to a page that gave you a Gentle Mannes Service Medal, or the one that'd give you a Gibus? I wish Valve would re-implement these features into another update somehow, but i don't think it'll happen. R.I.P Updates, 2007 - 2016. You were good son, real good. Maybe even the best.

I asked b4nny this "got any news about the updates" in the stream and he said they are only going to update 2 things on cp_badlands.
So, they ARE tweaking cp_badlands. What two changes are needed to render Pro Badlands obsolete?

badlands is already one of the most pro-ready maps that valve ever made. what about all the other maps with pro versions? (badwater, viaduct, turbine [lol], etc)
