Something interesting I found, the Mayans had these gods called the 9 lords of night (Contrasting them, there were also lords of day). Since there's 9 classes in TF2, maybe there should be a set for each character based on each one of those gods that matches the theme of each god to each class.

Have the legs like that for a reason: Cause I will be moving em' when I put it on each class model. Basically, a hanging frog.
Also, the white is there cause I am doing each texture at a time. Wanna make sure it doesn't mess up.

Actually it seems all of the Lords of Night have masks associated with them, so that would make a great set, 1 mask for each character.

When I read lord of flint, it reminded me of the flint knives used in sacrifices, so I would have matched that one to spy, although the mask does fit spy well. I would go with soldier being the lord of death and the demo as the lord of water cause he frequents the whiskey river.
I feel like you guys are missing something pretty good here. I saw a jawbone dagger mentioned earlier which was the closest it got.
Ancient Mayans used teeth in their weapons, since they're sharp and most of the weapons were made of wood as a base. Obviously beating someone with wood is much more effective if it's lined with sharp teeth and barbs. Also, there was a type of sleeve/glove that was lined with teeth facing toward the fingertips, essentially making punches that much more dangerous.

Essentially, the boston basher but with a cylindrical hexagon "blade", shark teeth instead of nails, and Mayan carvings in the pommel, top, and possibly handle.
I'd like to apologize as I'm terrible at drawing, and the fine motor skills in my hands are severely affected by a disability, so these drawings are terrible, and caused me more trouble than it was probably worth.
Anyone with some sort of 3d modelling skills think these would be feasible additions?

If the cloth appears to be folded and/or layered, that may be a good way to disguise the extra size, and act as a decent excuse for the extra size.

You should finish the model before you create the texture, and then just adjust the model for each class, trying to drastically change a model after it has a texture attached to it is a pain (especially if your adding or removing polys).

The longbow was the obvious choice for a primary since it fits the theme and I'd love to have another bow option (even if Valve seems to really dislike adding them). It might need custom animations, though. This picture brought the jaguar-pelt quiver to my attention, and I thought it was a pretty cool idea to further connect the weapon to the theme and differentiate it visually from the Huntsman. There [I]is[/I] another option, and that is a rather cool-looking dart-thrower. It would [I]definitely[/I] need custom animations, and I'm not sure how practical it is for TF2's fast-paced gameplay. :/

For a secondary, I initially wanted to make a new throwable but couldn't really think of anything that would fit the theme. The closest I could come up with was a pouch that would be filled with some liquid or powder. But now that I'm thinking about it again, a carved jar could actually be a cool idea. If not a throwable, there's always the option of a back shield. Sadly, that does have the potential problem of covering up the jaguar quiver, which is probably the most important visual aspect of the bow concept.
I quickly chose the toothed club for the melee, but the hatchet could also work. There's probably also a nice big Mayan/Aztec/etc. knife or machete laying around somewhere.
Thoughts?

So i desperately trying now to think of something to make,maybe i could join with somebody to make a model together :D
And some of the first ideas i had were a bear trap.Since the theme is jungle and mayann they would need something to catch something xD like a huge bear trap thats is closed on his head or hanging from his hip.

we go through this every project with a specific theme. tomb raider, batman, now this. just make whatever, i think the theme is specific enough to let it slide. how many space suits were submitted for invasion?
