I was thinking to give it styles. And the rubin should have been team-colored, as this was inspired by what Tullio and Miguel from the Movie The Way for Eldorado wore after they were identified as gods.
Will experiment on textures, even if the ones who made them was Winglet himself. For symbols, I am thinking of something, not sure what tho.

Welp, guess no one's gonna be getting any sleep for the next week.
I needed something to do while waiting for the texture work on the Quetzal, so I tried to make a blowgun for sniper that doesn't require new animations. This odd duck is my solution.
Crap placeholder flat texture btw. Also no lens texture yet.
Bamboo for the barrel and scope housing, a wooden grip, gold supports holding it all together and emerald glass on the scope. I figure the grip could have some mayan engravings with gold leaf or something.
The best part is that when the snipers scopes in he raises the pipe to his mouth. So you could make this weapon a "fire only when scoped" kind of thing.

I don't know if what I'm going to attempt to do will work, but I'll figure something out
EDIT: Might as well explain what I was going to do, in case my thinking is wrong.
I was planning on having a duplicated top half of the chest in an "opened" position which would expose the gold, and putting both upper halves on their own UV on the same texture. Meaning that the red and blu textures would have a different alpha that hides certain parts of the mesh. And the second texture would be for the gold so it could be envmappped.

Are you sure it won't need new animations? How does the sniper manage to reload with the standard animation?

Pretty sure that's how the kritz or treat canteen works, so I don't expect any issues. The thing that threw me off with this here is that the meshes would be overlapping a ton so it's gonna look like a mess in the 3D modeling program.
