I had an idea for a weapon ( for sniper) : a makeshift sniper rifle that is made of wood and tied together by tape or something( with different styles like white, maple, or dark brown). With a scope. Stats: +100% more base damage ( no more 50 quick body shots, it's now 100). + Can headshot with out scope for -50,damage +500% bigger clip size (5 per clip). - can not deal extra damage deal to scoping in. - slower 15% fire rate - slower 75% reload rate ( cuz clip)
I'm so sorry to say this but... Valve decides stats. We only make models here.

As for the Sniper rifle itself, it sounds extremely low-skill and incredibly annoying to fight against; you could kill any class other than the Heavy in 1.725 seconds using uncharged bodyshots.

They did such a great job it had to be split into two weapons!

You know it's a badly-made effect when you can barely even see the hat behind it.
You know it's a badly-made effect when you can barely even see the hat behind it.
It's clearly visible that he has antlers on, but i can move it up more if it's a problem, hell if a person really thinks that it blocks their hat, they can simply move the effect up ingame with the effect moving thing on the loadout screen. EDIT: Here are some new pictures of it down here, moved up a little bit more. I think a lot of people fall into the trap of making unusual effects too big, it's hella distracting and it's even worst when it floats high above the head. the effect is cool tho.
Can somebody help get JPRAS's attention for me? He blocked me on Steam because I tried to add him and so that killed my chance to get my item accepted into the collection.

Hell you don't even need to post it on this thread, just the mayann frame on your work's thumbnail will make it noticed. Or is there something else?
a bit part of the problem is that it's essentially a solid color. most good effects are transparent enough to see through, but yours is just a flat texture. And it's not gimmicky enough like a cloud or moon to warrant being solid, it's just sunrays which should not be that bright of an unusual
The problem is that he won't notice it unless he unblocks me. So he won't even see my item. That's why I need someone to get him to unblock me.
Hi! I didn't block you, as far as I know(?) However, I did decline your friend request as I have alot of people add me daily for similar reasons. I'm afraid I either don't have the time or can't keep up with everyone that adds me. I took a look at the item you mentioned, and from my judgment, I don't see it fitting the theme very well. I understand what the item is suposed to be, but the way it was executed doesn't transmit the idea very well. If you'd like my feedback, I'd rework the item a bit to look more like a (I think) Panama hat, both proportion-wise and texture-wise, as it looks rather flat at the moment. The best way to improve your work is to look at alot of references, both real life, and already existing TF2 items. I hope that answered your questions, and if you have any more of them, feel free to post them here and I'll reply when I have the availability.

I'll be sure to edit the item. You did look at the newest version, right? Anyways, I checked again and it did seem I wasn't blocked. But I accidentally added you again, so I'll be sure to remove you again. I'm on a phone.
A quick concept of gaiters, intended to be all-class, any thoughts:
So i've tried to take advice from the people, and i made the effect smaller so it doesn't block the hat and doesn't distract too much. I've already updated the workshop file with this version, if it still looks too distracting/big at this point, i'll give up on trying to make this better because i can't think of anything else that would improve it. Please tell me if it looks fine now.
[editline]6th May 2016[/editline] I posted same idea for sniper loong time ago on this Mayann page. I think i was first at that point so its not right you made something that i invented but you might didint know so for future beter to look back if there are similar stuff so you wont loose your time. Sry for my english im lerning all the time
I looked back quite a few pages but I guess I must have missed it, I'll cease all work on this project immediately.
I looked back quite a few pages but I guess I must have missed it, I'll cease all work on this project immediately.
It isn't necessary to quit working on your own item. You should continue it. Unless you're directly copying his idea, which you aren't, you're allowed to make something similar. Some people are just a bit too touchy about their ideas.

But you have it raised like it's a "Cloud/floaty" unusual, which makes it just look displaced. I know part if it might be to differentiate from sunbeams, but without a source in the middle to show where the effect is "coming" from, it seems odd
It looks more like sunbeams with an actual sun to me.
Hooga booga :v mask spirit companion concept, a little mask that will follow the player. not claimed yet
Made the first model iteration of the gaiters:

A concept for a rocket launcher, I still haven't gotten Blender on my mac, though.

Ok, I have run into a problem... It seems that with any other animation or pose, the frog seems to go into the body. Any idea on how to fix this? It was working with (Base Pose) I used the scout_refrence.smd to rig the model. Example (Posed at Stand):

Make sure the skin weights on your frog share similar values in the right areas.
