Pybun is working on those. we're slowly revamping all the old models and textures that were used in the first version, so it takes a while for stuff to get done. so far the crystals are completed and most optimization improvements are also done
So Abandoned Upward is going to get a new coat of paint and submitted as a Mayann map? That's honestly not a terrible idea. Like 2Fort, Upward is a popular enough map to warrant the year-round inclusion of a reskin. Any time I feel like playing 2Fort, I play 2Fort Invasion, because the changes made (mostly the explosives) improve the experience for me a lot. It would be cool to have a slightly different version of Upward.

basically yeah. we're looking into using smiliar techniques used in 2fort invasion like props instead of geometry but upwards compact design complicates things.

I've been busy with a mapping competition for HL2: EP2, however in the meantime I managed to slap together a basis for logic so Phen is off busy attempting at a multi stage koth map (Based off of the game logic I sent him). Yeah the 'map' will change on each new round, playing best out of three. However, TF2 doesn't like the logic we've set up so it's going to take a fair bit of time before we actually get the map in a playable state. But hey, progress is progress.

The rest of the set is great, but I'm hating those skulls on the bandolier/chest cloth thing.
Maybe instead of doing three low poly skulls, just do one better skull closer to the shoulder. Or swap out all the skulls for gold metal pins that are in the shape of simple skulls.
Change it into a jaguar pelt.

Ahh good point, I hadn't noticed it even though I had been working on it for quite a while. Corvalho did the models, but I think there's enough room to add a few triangles to the top of the skulls at least for lod 0. Thanks for pointing it out
