Grab your raincoat, your umbrella, and tons of lily pads, because The Croaking Hazard is now available on the Steam Workshop and Source Filmmaker Workshop! Thank you all for the support throughout this project, and all the advice! Without you guys, none of this would be possible! (And yes, I will refrain from posting tons of updates next time) Feel free to vote!
Alright! Compile some of my items. Edit: Looking for someone to texture theses.
The Pyro weapon is just a stone mace? That's pretty cool. But what is the third weapon supposed to be? Also, is the first weapon supposed to be a Macuahuitl? If so, you might want to rethink the model; Macuahuitls are meant to be long, with lots of sharp pieces of obsidian protruding from each side, not short and blunt.

I also agree with you about the macuahuitl model - it looks like a plastic toy for three year olds, not a keenly deadly melee weapon which is what it is supposed to be.
Any tips on how to make this hair look better? (going to do something to hide the ears later) Based on this: [t]http://i.imgur.com/INlefxK.png[/t] Thanks!
[T]http://i.imgur.com/Fs4uHgg.png?1[/T]
The Croaking Hazard's Grandfather?
[T]http://i.imgur.com/Fs4uHgg.png?1[/T]
I love this. It reminds me of a frog I draw called Bully Frog.
The Croaking Hazard's Grandfather?
Or maybe I could finish it? I feared that I'd be called a copycat if I would upload a frog into the workshop right after another one has been.
Or maybe I could finish it? Like, even if someone else made a frog, it shouldn't disqualify you from making yours if you've already put work into it and shown it Like, no one 'owns' the idea of making a frog for the classes in TF2. Plus yours is a much different-looking frog. The other one is a tree frog and yours is like a bullfrog. I'd think you're allowed to totally finish yours, that's my opinion

It would actually be really funny of both of these frogs got into the game.
Yeah dude, Im not stopping you from finishing this. It would actually be really funny of both of these frogs got into the game.
Alright, thanks! I'll see if i can finish it sometime next week.
[T]http://i.imgur.com/Fs4uHgg.png?1[/T]
this frog is very different from the other one. the only thing in common is the "frog over shoulder" aspect. that shouldn't stop you from finishing it.
You could always combine the two, have one on each shoulder, and call it "The Amphibian Allies"
You could always combine the two, have one on each shoulder, and call it "The Amphibian Allies"
Theyre too distinct in style and character for that tbh. The large frog has more character and could definitley stand on its own
Oh, I've updated this with two more items.
Alright, thanks! I'll see if i can finish it sometime next week.
-snipped due to idk why I posted this- [editline]22nd May 2016[/editline] Forgot to put this out there, feedback for the Frog is welcomed, even though its on the workshop.
Finished the gaiters:

So I've tried to make the animation more natural by animating more of the body parts, I feel like I should cut the part of the animation so it can flow more smoothly though. Also I'll properly animate the Medic's coat when the Medic himself is moving naturally. Please let me know how it looks so far and what parts of it need more work. Thank you!

I just saw something on the history channel; they talked about a Mayan tactic of making a statue of a soldier and having a hive of bees colonize it. When an invader mistakes the statue for a person and attacks it, the bees swarm the area and attack everything nearby. Someone might want to make an item based on this, like a throwable for sniper or scout or maybe even pyro since swarming bees would probably work like afterburn.
It definitely looks a lot better, but his lower body still seems a bit unnatural in the way it moves.
Thanks, are you referring to his lower torso or his legs?
Snip-O
That's a great idea, I did some inking and it works very well with the Jarate! I like it. [t]http://i.imgur.com/5Dway4H.png[/t] While we are on the subject of bee's they would work very well as a unusual effect.
While we are on the subject of bee's they would work very well as a unusual effect.
Or a flamethrower

[t]http://i.imgur.com/5Dway4H.png[/t] While we are on the subject of bee's they would work very well as a unusual effect.
It'd certainly look interesting, but (discounting obsidian as it's hardly translucent) I don't recall Mesoamerican cultures having glass. Perhaps crystal, but certainly not thin enough to be a jar. And there's the issue of the triangle (and possibly material) count on the model. While the honeycomb might be able to get away without too many tris, the bees would either quickly eat up the budget, look like shit individually, or be much too scarce to look good. Plus who knows how well the transparencies of the jar and the bees' wings would get along.
It'd certainly look interesting, but (discounting obsidian as it's hardly translucent)
Oh, Let me just stop you right there. That's just a profile of the object not its material. It's a technique that were you draw profiles of the object to generate ideas in busts. It's called inking.
I only made mention of obsidian so no one would say it as a response to "Mayans didn't have glass," never meant that the concept was showing obsidian. I'm familiar with how silhouettes work, sorry for the confusion. My points were that the concept itself probably wouldn't work well with the theme of the pack, and that a model of the concept would be a problem from a technical standpoint.
