Taunt idea, 4 floating arms grab on to each of (insert class here) limbs and hold them with their stomach facing the sky then another floating hand with a blade cuts their head off while they scream. Then the head tumbles off a bit and they magically regenerate at the end, it would be called sacrifice.

Also consider maybe having them bounce away as if they were raining on the merc's head?

This probably is a longshot suggestion but how about getting an exclusive item if you own the game Terraria? I say this due to the very Mayan/Aztec temple in the jungle biome within the game. Again it's just a thought I had, figured I would share it.

Map idea. Payload scenario situated in deep Columbian jungles with mayan debris. And these debris are used for drug manufacturing. And the key goal - is to blow the drug lab. :what:

Normally, (there are exemptions to the rule of course) the companies agree before hand to do a cross promotion and then they create the promotional items. Another factor is the fact that a company promotes its products (games) to be top heavy on sales on the initial few weeks and months. This is the time they would cross promote. If the game is older, the less likely that valve or even the developer/distributing company of the game would devote time on promoting the game.
I'm busy on my KOTH map, but a good Payload idea would be to have the payload be a Mayann treasure on a cart, and you simply have to get it from the temple, to out of the jungle, or something like that.

Would we need to model a crystal skull to get the sprites for this? If so, we may need some help making it. Also should we just focus on one skull instead of thirteen? [b]EDIT:[/b] If we need to, how would we go about preventing them seeming static? If anyone could answer any of these questions, we'd be very thankful.
Do contributors get paid anything for unusuals? Cant really get a selfmade for them either. Does Valve just add them and thats it?

Edit: in my head i thought it would be cool to have it in gold... but only special weps gets gold... oh well. any way the concept is still up for grabs if any one wants it.

Making a model for them is probably not necessary. The sunbeams and "haze" can be done with default sprites. Put your circle of skulls on one sprite, already arranged in the circle. Then you can add rotation to it easily and not suffer from the quirks of orbiting effects. Doing each little skull as a seperate sprite is a bad idea because it'll be nearly impossible to keep them lined up consistently in game from all angles. Put your central skull on its own sprite, too. Then you can do something interesting with it as well like make it bob slightly up and down, or even rotate in the opposite direction. Make sure both your skull sprite sets are neutrally coloured (eg, greyscale, or maybe the "crystal" effect). It's trivial to colourize them as needed. The order will likely be (from back to front) - haze, sunbeams, orbiting skulls, central skull, all locked to the control point.

How about a payload map where you push a minecart full of treasure out of a temple and onto a helicopter? With red trying to stop you and return the treasure I'd be willing to help block out a layout and make necessary props for it.
This whole thing sounds awesome!
