But why would RED want to return the treasure? Maybe it could be cursed, or they could be trying to keep it stored so they have time to transfer it to a museum?

You're going to Central America! But in exchange, you need to get some things done while you're there. I'll page you what I need when you get there."
It was contracts.
Although, there was a cool snakeskin minigun.

You know what'd be sweet? at the end, everything goes bright and everyone burns to death by that phlog flame death (the one where they turn into particle)
edit: actually, the story could be that the mayan gods spoke to the red team and told them to protect the treasure. When blu succeeds, the gods get pissed and all reds die from the phlog effect

Probably 5 bands of vines strung around the hat (of course as like flat images or however they'd be handled as Unusual particles) and a machete (maybe Sniper's Kukri?) coming around and chopping them and after a short while they reform.

I'm surprised I haven't seen anyone come up with a volcano themed KOTH map, like the capture point is in the magma chamber with paths snaking in from a surrounding jungle. The whole thing would have a sacrificial alter theme to it. It'd be really cool if at the end of the round it erupted.

Anyone done a golden gauntlet type thing for Engineer as a Gunslinger reskin? It'd work as a good Gunslinger equivalent to the Golden Wrench and as an obligatory Batsaber tier item, imo. Get some El Dorado/Midas Touch goodness up in here.
Might as well try making another unusual effect concept as I am no animator. Somebody mentioned a rolling rock, so why not have one hit you in the head repeatedly?

We attempted it to go with our Dell Dorado set for Halloween, which we'll probably be rebranding and submitting to this, but the rigging on the Gunslinger made anything too different from the Gunslinger's shape too difficult to accomplish. Who knows, maybe we'll revisit it though.
