Are those uncraftable metal or something?
Some of them have dashed boxes around them, which is why I'm asking.

I'm pretty sure it means the person no longer owns the item.

Man if those were uncraftable I'd be 30 times richer than anyone in tf2.

Actually people like that exist already, they're trading one type of key for another, like a stockpile key for a supply crate or whatever

It's good to be in trading again.
a guy on outpost just tried to shark me lmfao
I just unboxed a strange professional killstreak scattergun kit, put it up on outpost. Half a minute later "how much". I replied "i dunno prices of this shit, I just unboxed it"
He mentions owning one recently, so I assumed he knew the value so I accepted the invite and go in trade. He puts up a few trading cards worth .6 cents each and said "its almost a complete set, its missing one card"
BTW. For pricing these items You use Steam Community Market. That thing is like 30€, so nice.

there wont be any posts if we only do tf2 trading, as it's pretty much completely dead
Seriously i go 3-4 weeks without offers in tf2. no one trades for what they want anymore, everyone is just greedy and whiny
there wont be any posts if we only do tf2 trading, as it's pretty much completely dead
So then let the thread go unbumped if nobody is seeing bad trades? There's no rule that it has to be frontpage at all times.

The TF2 board has seemed to slow down a tonne in general. If I missed out on General Chat, I'd used to have to catch up on ~10 pages, now it's ~2 to 3 pages.

Dunno why people are dumbing and the like. I get that CSGO shit isn't the place here, but there's no need to be so hostile towards him. Instead of dumbing and disagreeing with him and avoiding an actual argument, lets look at the real problem.
Tf2 is a dying game, in both trading and people who actually play.
I'd estimate over half of my friends with tf2 don't play anymore ,and nearly no one in my close circle(20~ people.) plays tf2 anymore.
It'd be a smart move to set up a general Steam Shitlist to be honest. CSGO is becoming more and more active in both traders and players, Dota 2 is always going to be active, and other things that can be traded (games, cards, etc), can have some funny things happen.

Also, this.
This section is slowly getting to the point where in a year or two this section won't even exist. That's why there's no left 4 dead, portal, or CSGO section. A section would be far too slow and would be better fitted in 2-3 threads.
Tf2 is a dying game
Except that it's not.

Alright, I guess I'm wrong and you are right. My mistake.
My main point is this section(and trading) is dying, why not move this thread to the valve/mods/etc section to make it a pinnacle for all things shit trades related?
Tf2 has more players than before, but they're F2P so trading is dying out. The game is still active, but trading is fading away
I sure do love random trade requests on unusual servers for my strange festive sniper rifle
