Wait, WHAT?? How? Where did you get this from?
It popped up as a part of a post for one of the groups on Steam that pops up in the corner of my screen, but for the life of me I couldn't fetch the post again since all I rmemeber it was one fo the big trade group pages. There was another fact about how the key would be worth 67 ref next Christmas if it kept up at the rising trend it was at.
This is a hilariously all to real scenario, considering they're already pushing Keys to be 13 ref.
Well the problem would be the fact that that would make refined about 3 cents each, or each weapon drop two thousandths of dollar. Even if idling were still a popular thing you'd need 50 idle accounts to make a dollar a week
Well it looks like I should buy some keys very soon.
Well it looks like I should buy some keys very soon.
I would suggest converting your ref to keys while you still have the chance, buying them is pointless since the highest possible cash price they will ever go is the price you bought them for, 2.49$ USD
backpack.tf is intentionally screwing up the market when you look at price suggestions, admins accept increasing price suggestions with less than 50% positive votes and close the decreasing one with more than 50%. Also, just check the detailed stats.tf link about keys, according to them there are ~300 keys that were obtained by Timed Drops. How can people drop keys? O_o

O_o
The whole thing is litteraly fucked up , why so ? Here an exemple: X item was 1 key ,someone made a suggestion to decrease it price to one rec under a key that's like 1 year, let's say, (so one key was like 4 refined) So this item will be 3.66 refined And now since one key is 13 ref, this item is no way 1 rec under one key As well the hats that has been priced for 1key ,now they worth litteraly 13refs
I crafted the Lunatic's Leathers #100 and have had people try to scam me for it. Are number crafts really that valuable? I know it's a good number and item but I have no idea what it's worth.

I'd say your jacket is worth AT LEAST 1 bud, but most likely a lot more. Here's the general tips for selling an valuable item with no real set price. First don't set a buyout and never accept offers unless they surpass a crazy price of something like 10 buds. Keep B/O high even after you get a sense of the item's worth so if a collector or someone else buys it they just can't resell it for higher to make a fool out of you. Never take the word of a trader on the price of an item they have that you don't know the value of. Always double check with a friend or your good buddies on facepunch . Don't let people add you to offer you, nor don't let yourself to be pressured to make a deal. The ones that pressure you are just doing so because their offer sucks. blah blah probably doesn't help but whatever.

About the max price in cash, I think I have seen some guys on the steam market selling for more.
I also noticed that sometimes ( and it happens more and more ) keys are more expensive in the market than in the ingame store. But the thing that I absolutly don't understand and worries me quite about people's common sense is that, the sellers get buyers... I mean, sure the price doesn't change much ( like 2.54 dollars instead of 2.49 ) but that is incredibly dumb IMO.

Store Keys will be untradeable for a few days or something if you haven't purchased anything in a good while. Besides, it's faster, more reliable and you can buy them in bulk.

But still ( not to sound greedy ), a low amount of additional cents in the end results in a decent amount of additional dollars.

[img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/sRZIjkq.png[/img_thumb] 610 of an item for 1 of the same item, seems good.
So can someone explain to me whats going on there?
So can someone explain to me whats going on there?
New Steam Xmas/Holiday event item.
That I know, but why is the person offering a bunch of gems for only one? Or are they responding to a trade offer? (I have the feeling I am being dull right now).
That I know, but why is the person offering a bunch of gems for only one? Or are they responding to a trade offer?
