Anyone know how the search feature of Outpost works? I just got a new computer and I'm seeing [URL="http://i42.tinypic.com/2ym7xbk.png"]this[/URL] when I go to the search page. Typing in the search box does nothing. And it's the same on different browsers.

I can't believe my eyes. I was just on backpack.tf and saw a suggestion to LOWER the price of keys, and it was being considered. Of course someone's suggestion to raise the price of buds was also being considered.
You think that's bad? Yesterday I bought a really uncommon new hat (robo hat, robo effect, only 5 period) for 3.5. "Alright," I said, "time to reflect that on backpack.tf, since no price is listed there"
Here's a summary of the criticism I got:

First off, see previous statement. I can't be overpaying because NOBODY HAS EVER PAID FOR THE HAT I AM CURRENTLY SUGGESTING A PRICE FOR EXCEPT ME. I have exactly 100% more experience with this hat than you, so piss off. Second, if you want to suggest I overpaid, find a trade where someone sold lower. Except... Oops, you can't yet, because I was the FIRST ONE TO FUCKING BUY IT.
It's like they WANT inaccurate prices submitted by random repwhores browsing Outpost, rather than actual evidence and reasoning from a person who went through the time and effort to obtain the item.
Assholes. I'm done with unusual trading/pricing if this is what it's boiled down to.

Those happen from time to time, though it's usually considered hopeless, as the admins get the only say in the matter.

TF2items' premium item search thing? I've had someone want most of my backpack at one point and none of it was on sale (and never will be) and I put it down to that.

also if you care to know what happened next, i accepted his offer of a black villan's veil and then went on to sell it for 3 keys to a sniper buddy of mine.
