Is this what tf2 trading is becoming? Nothing but automated bots with their owners cycling items buying/reselling while sitting on their ass doing nothing? Hmm...

I came across one for the first time yesterday and reading your post explains everything to me, I was confused yesterday.
I added a guy to trade for some trading cards, as soon as I add him, he says he's a bot and doing automated key trades.
I couldn't get him to do anything about the cards, cause it was a bot fixed on keys only. I defriended him ... later the user must have seen my hidden post on his TF2OP trade and added me, by then I already had the cards and just ignored him.
So I guess those scripts have their downsides, you lose sales which have nothing to do with keys or what ever it's not scripted for.
