He buys it for 4.66, sells for 5, the next guy buys for 5, sells for 5.33. The one who bought that sells them for 5.66, and so on and so forth. Weapons and metal just keep getting devalued, and he's barely even making any significant profit.

But profit is still profit, and there will always be more guys who attempt the same shit as the guy they bought it from. I once sold an unusual for about 1 bud on TF2WH, only to see the exact same unusual resurface twice, being offered for 6 keys more each time.

So by him selling at a higher price that many people can afford without any loss to them is bad? If people are paying the price and can continue to pay the price with no problem then there's nothing wrong. People will continue to raise their price until people can't afford it. When that happens the price will stabilize and become a regular price until everyone can catch up and then it'll rise again.

Bitcoins instability is a godsend. Put my $8,000 of hat money into them at $80. Sold after the first crash at $200. Bought again after the second crash at $80. They dip to $50, I get scared. Shoot up to $130 now.
