The guy claimed it was 15 buds, and said he had many people price it at that, which is outright lying. It's not a bannable offense to make a horrible offer like this, since the trader partially deserves it if he just took it blindly. The difference between what this guy did and what other traders do is that he outright lied about the price rather than just omitting prices. Of course, though, the other guy should have at least looked up how much it fucking was before the trade and if any others existed.

But that doesn't mean what the other guy was doing wasn't wrong. Since he lied about the price, and then later lied about never owning a strange blood banker. So just now, this guy named fireboyblob was buying stranges. I put up my S. Eyelander, which is 1.66 according to backpack.tf, but I was selling for 1.33 because I want metal a bit faster and that price is sort of high. He put up a rec and 3 scrap and then said "?" and I told him I need way more. He then told me that 1.33 meant 1 reclaimed and 3 scrap. I was thinking "okay, maybe he's new or something" so I told him that it meant 1 refined and 3 scrap, and he said "you're asking for way too much and no it means what i said". He "corrected" me by saying I was supposed to sell for "2.2" and then again that it was too much, even though it's a reclaimed under the actual price. He even said backpack.tf had the price he told me, and well no it's very clearly 1.66. He said "you're wasting your time" and that the price was too high once more and then cancelled the trade. Just wanted to post this here because it was really annoying. I'm not sure if he's new and very stubborn or trying to scam and acting dumb. :v:

I'm not sure if he's new and very stubborn or trying to scam and acting dumb. :v:[/QUOTE] Someone did that to me before so I just pasted the backpack.tf accepted price change page (seeing as, at the time, it was the most obvious price page) until he fucked off (if memory serves me correctly, he still tried to make out that 1 reclaimed was enough for the HOUWAR I had told him was not for sale). Sharks always seem to make a quick exit when I do things like that.
