Can someone explain why the Exquisite Rack is so hard to get?
Only 2 pages of trades on it in TF2OP and people are asking 1.66ref minimum and the uncraft ones go for ~4 ref.
What the hell? Isn't it just a normal craft hat?

It's a part of Christmas Hats. Christmas Hats are rising right now. For instance, the vibrator tree costs 2,66-3 ref.

I barely find stuff, most of the items that I find are just weapons. I know that trading exists, but it is still a really slow process.
The more I see of this thread the happier I am I don't have my unusual anymore.

Harry is known in the awesomenauts community and he was indeed hacked. The pisher hacked his account to get to one of his friends account to steal his items. But unlike harry, his friend already knew about the pisher and the tf2 trading community, so the hijacker did not succeed.
Harry is not the most experienced tf2 player, and he wasn't aware of the dangers of pishing links. Harry did not have anything super expensive in his backpack, so the hijacker is currently using his account to try and hijack other players.

I read something about this fact and I know he's been hacked (I had to check, because this guy wouldn't just say "fuck this, I'm gonna be a pisher now!" ) I am suprised he didn't hear about pishing links. He is a trader, so he should know the dangers of trading world.

I don't know the full story about how it happend (because I am not friends with him on steam).
But, as we all know, pisher can be quite subtle. A guy that might have been on your friendlist for a long time, could of the sudden send you a pisher link because A. he was hijacked or B. he decided to screw you over and become a pisher himself.
Though I think Harry just forgot the "dangers" of random links on steam.
It's quite frustrating/sad that there are people out there, that are so cold that they do this kind of shit.
I guess this serves as a reminder to always double check links before you click on them.

I find in situations like these, [URL="http://www.enhancedsteam.com/"]Enchanced Steam Plugin for Chrome, Firefox etc[/URL] works a treat. It, by default, blocks phishing links and since it'll launch the link in a browser, it's one line of defence at least. It's also pretty useful for comparing game prices and games you already own (to make sure, buying that pack of games doesn't just net you a pile of dupes and 1 new game).
Well apparently, the seller of that item is even more greedy.
