I wish the TFteam would post a blog post about what's going on exactly.

Its almost like when they post a half finished balance update post and say its half finished it means the update isn't ready yet.

Other than MYM, (which did nothing but break features for many months and lacked a large amount of balance changes and content expected in a usual update), it was the last update advertised as a true content pack. The past two Scream Fortress and Smissmass updates have been make-up events for other updates being worked on. Invasion did have a nice amount of content, some fantastic maps and a good SFM, but it was purely community. So, to me, this is a 2-year hiatus. Let's hope it's worth the drought.

There's only three things I'm really not looking forward to when the update hits. [B]1.[/B] Map related or return of an old abuseable glitch, Delfy capitalises on it and now every valve server has 3 kids repeating daddy Delfy. [B]2.[/B] That one Pyro weapon everyone will have equipped and everyone will use for weeks. [B]3.[/B] Phlogistinator's Future. That's a weapon I can see getting a nasty buff due to its uselessness without a medic.

Only a few more hours until MyM is 1 year old.

Someone edit the meeting scene from Toy Story where the toys freak out because the birthday party is scheduled before the move and replace the toys with the tf team.

So what are y'alls plans until August. I'm thinking a barbeque, vacation for a few weeks.

There's some other games out in a few weeks I'm interested in, sadly only at the end of July itself, so really? Kind of just back to the same old routine until something happens. Realizing we've been stuck with Meet Your Match for a harrowing 365 days really dampens the spirit.

If the Pyro/Jungle update came out in August, then the Campaign would go until October (based on past campaigns being 3 months long). That would be pretty close to the next campaign assuming Halloween 2017 will have one like the last 2 years did.

MYM was prioritized over Halloween, after all.

Halloween 2015 was also actually pretty well-executed, with its own comic, Halloween contracts and cosmetics. Halloween 2016 got skipped for the Jungle Update, which...still isn't here yet.

honestly all I'm excited for are changes to casual and new maps, anything more is just a bonus

They will have totally fucked up if they don't get it out before mid july. Schools & Colleges start to go back in august, and they'll have missed a large time to make the game popular again.

Is it bad that I'm only really excited about the non stock weapon skins and contracts?

Of course not that entire time, but part of the man power for that time was fixing casual.

I'd really like to get a Festive Degreaser skin this Christmas if it counts. I collect festive skins for 5 classes, pyro being one of them.

At this point I personally couldn't think what kind of thing I'd expect from this update tbh, just waiting it out for now - lowered expectations because lol MyM was a quality update
