Okay. Call me a moron if you wish, how does the move affect the update if it's been delayed? If anything, it should [B]only[/B] have an effect if the move actually took place on schedule (tomorrow). Edit: Unless they had already packed their things or something.

I just want more communication. Like a blog post just saying the update will be soon. That is all I want.

This make some degree of sense. Valve move offices in September. They get set up in time to release the Pyro/Jungle update in October. [I]Late[/I] October. You know, instead of a Halloween event update. It'll be fine. We've done this before. If we're lucky, we'll get a new crate with an exclusive key before then. With a bunch of tiered cosmetics and the same unusual effects we've grown to love! Every unbox has the chance to be strange or unusual* or both! *"Hat" equip region only.

As a heads-up, TF2Maps is hosting their [url=https://tf2maps.net/threads/tf2maps-presents-the-summer-2017-72-hour-tf2-jam.33064/]Summer Jam[/url] again, with both the traditional medal for that, and a new charity drive medal for Redkite, for donating 5 USD or more to the charity drive for that. The charity drive medal is a new medal; so we'll have to get [i]an[/i] update soon to add the files for it, even if that update is not the Jungle Update.

Even though we had Pyromania which counted for the summer update dropping on June 27th, reminder that MvM dropped on August 15th of the same year as well. So august update doesn't sound [B]TOO[/B] far-fetched to me. However, one last full week left in July to prove me wrong... hopefully.

If it's not within the next two weeks I'm gonna be beyond depressed. I have no doubt that the update is going to be at least great but I'm really concerned about it launching at the optimal time to attract players, and anything past then seems way too late.

thanks god I have things to do with my life, every time I come back to the computer and check the tf2 blog the dread starts again and doesnt go away until I turn off the computer, and even then the update haunts me at night. But for real this week IS the week right?..ri-right guys??

When do medals usually get added? The Summer Jam ends at the 7th August. Even the TF Team must be aware of the fact that giving the community a small update with medals at times like this is a deathwish.

I'm really wondering why does this take so long to release now. If update does not arrive in august or earlier, they are going to rebrand it to the 10 year anniversary update for the september 18th when game went playable on public beta 2007.

But we've gotten maybe a dozen patchs this year and this update is latter than it's ever been. I do want this update to ship in a good state but I have to wonder what the hell is going on. When they put out the balance blog post I thought we were maybe 2-3 weeks away at most, especially since they have apparently been in crunch time for some time. Like seriously guys at least take a few minutes to answer to VNN interview questions and give us a vague idea of when you plan to ship the update.

Anyone believe in a chance for promotional items for some of the upcoming games? i know it was ages ago but we did get some promo items when Saints row 3 came out, and with agents of mayhem coming out could there be some? or would that have already been announced? ((Also thanks, as a lurker, for the good times MUS. I only joined out of curiosity of a Halloween update a couple years back, but it kept me entertained and coming back. I'd be disappointed if there wasn't at least one ukulele man before its shut down for good :v: ))

Besides, SR3 was published by THQ, which is long gone.

It's a bit of a stretch, but I suppose it could mean that they could be nearly finished with work to the point where they can start messing with the blog. Did it go down for MyM or Tough Break?

1) Jill seems to start doing other things than TF2 (Steam updates) 2) Jill and EricS again playing Casual and Community Servers 3) Weird crap with servers and the blog 4) More than a month since the blog posts The update [B]is[/B] coming. I expect it at the next week in July, or another week after that in August.
